Hello. The main question about OSS fireteams: We have Does special fireteam of 3 Dakinis and 1 Deva count as dakinis fireteam so CSU can join it?(and why, if you think so) Or is it just special core without type and CSU can't join it?
3 Dakinis + 1 Deva = Fireteam Core (special) according to the chart. It's a Dakini Fireteam, not a Deva one, so CSU can join.
And you can't have devas in dakini fireteam. They don't count as dakinis and can't join dakinis fireteam. You just can create Special fireteam with 0-4 dakinis and 0-2 devas.
It's neither, it's a special Fireteam. Core Fireteams are not identified in the way that Haris or Duo are. CSU can join any Core with Dakini in it.
So you think CSU can join any special fireteam with dakinis? I just want to collect opinions and clarify this for myself.
It can be either. You declare that when you form the team. Though in practicality in the army it doesn't matter
Using this logic we can say, that fusiliers with kamau can enlist machinist because and at the same time Machinist: Special Fireteam. The Varuna Div. option can join any Fireteam: Core or Haris of Kamau. But fusilier core with kamaus is definately fusilier fireteam.
Huh... I thought this was clarified not too long ago. Special fireteams are just that, "special". Unless a trooper is a wildcard or "counts as" something it cannot join those special fireteams. In other words, it's not a Dakini fireteam OR a Deva fireteam. So unless the CSU "counts as" a Dakini or Deva, or is a wildcard, it can't join. Do I have this wrong?
@DukeofEarl try to understand. It written nowhere. Why should I think that special combined fireteams has any type? Thank you. I started to think that I'm alone. But at the same time I want it to be clearly clarified for everybody. And we still don't have an answer(
The difference between that and the Frontovik example is like the Dakini one. Frontovik/Line Kazaks can be either because of the way the sectorial list is written. Both troops have the Special Core under their own entry giving you the option of forming it as either type of Core. The Fusilier+ Kamau link is not a Kamau LInk as Fusiliers can not join a Kamau Core. and the Machinist can only join a Kamau team, not a team with Kamau https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/forming-fireteams-a-summary.3553/ will have all the answers you are looking for It is written in the Sectorial list. Under Deva there is no option to add Dakini so it is a Special Core of Dakini with Deva's added in. Due to being a Dakini link you can add a CSU.

Yes they can. Units is the first thing and to make any of the fireteams types it lists (DUO, Harris, Special, Core) you are creating a fireteam of that Unit. The Special column is only providing the details to the Special options available.
