I've stalled on Fallout 4 a couple of times due to the fact that Mirelurks creep me the fuck out. They were rare enough in FO3 that I could get through it but FO4 seems to have upped the number significantly. I'm trying again with a mod that replaces them all with robots, doing much better so far.
Cyberpunk 2077 delayed until September, hopefully this means less cruch for the developers and a more polished game.
Well, that's the goal, according to the post. I'm willing to wait a bit longer! Plus september is my birth month so bonus!
Feels like Im the only person I know who just doesn't care any amount about that game. I'm more upset over the FF7Remake delay!
Just finished "The Surge 2" and absolutely loved every minute of it! It improves on everything in the first game and I would strongly urge anyone who enjoyed the first one (Or "Souls-likes" in general) to try it! :-)
Nope. But I don't care FF either Tried the Light Matter demo lately. It's a Portal*-like puzzle game but with light instead of portals (who could have guessed). The mechanism is working but the demo/intro/tutorial is not that challenging so I expect the full game to provide something more interesting. I'm still wondering if I use the 25% discount ticket I get on it or shamelessly put it on my wish list so I'll wait for ridiculous discount during future sales. *inspiration is totally claimed and assumed by the devs.
Absolutely getting engrossed in Pathologic 2. A game I very much enjoy but would recommend to no one. It's three difficulties are: Medium, Hard, and Intended
Hold on a sec.. How is that there's not a single mention of Control and Disco Elysium on this topic ? I have to say I don't play a lot of solo story-driven games anymore, except the few licences I am really emotionnaly tied to (mostly immersive-sims, Deus Ex, Bioshock, Dishonored) but folks, those two... I just can't recommend them enough. Writing at it's best with some of the most refined gameplay systems ever designed. Please do yourself a favor and give them a look, they should not be that expensive anymore.
Being honest, Blizzard managed to kill my accumulated revulsion for SC when they released WoL. Not a competitive RTS player in the slightest, I must say that this is how you make an SP campaign in RTS. There are so many examples of devs failing in that regard, that only SP content in fighting games tend to suck more in general.
Half Life: Alyx is now available. Don't know I will wait long before buying it... Seems like a good game for VR. Might take me out of the Echo Arena for a couple of weeks at least.
HL: Alyx looks really really fun – I really wish I could play it. Unfortunately I'm stuck with just a PS VR for the time being and I doubt it'll ever come to that.
