CB has graciously decided to update us tomorrow, which is much appreciated. Given the kerfuffle the last couple days, and the difficulty unpacking the various complaints/rumors/hearsays/recriminations, I have what I hope will be a constructive suggestion. Let’s use this thread to give CB a list of community questions, like they do for their Q&As at Satellites. I don’t know if they’ll answer any (they’re certainly not beholden to) but if I were them I’d want to know what the real concerns are to make sure they got addressed as best they can. As such, here’s the rules for the thread: 1) Post only one question. One. 2) If you see a question that is substantively similar to what you’d want to ask, give it a like instead of posting a repeat of the question. Likes can function like votes for questions that way to give CB a sense of what the community concerns actually are. 3) Don’t be a doofus – this is an opportunity to ask questions they might choose to answer, let’s not screw it up by being rude or asking snide, useless questions. We’ve got lots of room on this forum for that. So, I’ll start us off. Question: What faction/sectorial armies that are currently part of N3 are not currently planned to be part of N4?
If some of the discontinued armies are not included in the N4 launch, will there be any support for them later, by the end of the year for example?
Why should someone who has never played this game choose to buy miniatures when they could be removed from the game with little warning?
Seeing this "trololo Bostria" thing is not working, when will you learn from competitors like Games Workshop and get your customer communication act together by hiring actual professionals for communication in English and taking care of your social media / news?
Why CB staff can not get rid of from forum, one annoying little mean fella. Who only sprinkle poo around, and is not that funny ? Maybe just his hate toward Carlos is quite adorable :).
What measures will Corvus Belli take to improve communication as they expand into Defiance, N4 and Code One (plus any future games), in areas such as forum moderation and responding, social media posts, and rumour control, to name a few examples?
If the SKU, cutting armies because of it, is the root of all evil why are there still so many blisters being released? Is there a future strategy to adress this problem?
Is there way we can see MORE of Carlos Bostria? His playful cheekiness was key to building our community and I am concerned that without increased Carlos face time our community might falter.
Why was it explicitly stated during discontinuation of production for Tohaa (and maybe others) that they will never cease to be ITS compatible?
Will we see changes to the melee system to make melee a more attractive option for units who aren't excellent at it, but still not terrible? (CC 16-20 with actual CCW)
I've seen that, along with multiplayer, multiple sources have claimed additional Aristos (and tactics decks) will likely be released this year. Given limited time for releases due to C1, Defiance, N4, etc., would it be reasonable to assume any such new Aristos would be released along with multiplayer, in a bigger core-box/2018 expansion style product?
Will there be repack with a mix of new and old minis (forcing us to buy old minis to get the new ones) or will new miniatures always be available in a separate packaging ?
TAGs and non-CC HI are way overrepresented in the category "not excellent but not bad at CC", and they tend to cost a weee bit much to use as doorstops for a few orders considering you also want to disentangle them next turn most of the time. In either case, if you want to discuss the minutea of the question I suggest you create a topic about it separately so we don't pollute this one.
What effect do you expect the current COVID-19 outbreak to have on product release plans for Code1, Aristea, Defiance and N4?
A fair point and I don't mean to detract from your original point, merely add in a little voice to the other side. You are, of course correct. The cheaper, better CC things are of course the better option for this - Daturazi are my go-to TAG-tanglers for this reason.
