The knights look like uninspired nonsense, per usual. Everything else looks fairly nice. Shame that they couldn't have done up some techy Fusiliers for NCA. Obligatory "Ugh" about the Nokken having a BSG though.

YJ miniatures are pretty cool, even with that low level photo you can apreciate this, if you don't...well, bad luck for you. But this box miniatures are fcking cool, great job from the sculptor
I have heard the KoJ may be taking over the space the Father Knight occupied, similar to how the Tanko took over the space of the Haramaki. I think the Jujak is my favorite. It looks like a super beefy Heavy Infantry with a flame thrower. Its helmet even reminds me of a welding mask. Kunai also looks pretty cool even from just the pose we have seen.
Eeh, they're alright. Good enough at least. Knight of Justice is very nice, cool dinamic pose that will be hell whenever he is next to a wall, but pretty cool. Dire Foes guys are pretty good, but the hvt looks like an asshole. Even with this blurry pic I want him to be shot and stabbed by one of the guys.
As someone who's actually studied longsword from a couple of different historical European sources, that's a 100% valid guard which can be very effective both offensively and defensively.
I like the pose! to me it communicates a reliance on brute force and power instead of dexterity and precision, which is what PanO is all about. It's a nice bridge between play style and artistic direction. Form and content are one. (While I understand this may not be the case in real life, it's simply the tones I'm drawing form a 28mm mini).
No problem, just make a list with 6 combi Zhanshis - that is daring! As far as I can see, I like this Svarlaheima Stuff - both sides and the Yu Jing side a bit more. Even if there a recycled poses, the minis look great and yes I like the hoods. I even like the Guilang with BSG, that make it worth that I buyed the old combi model for two month or so and painted it up :-) Only the DF box looks not so well for me. Hammer wielding Pan O is not fitting and the YJ one looks a bit boring. Hope for better pics.
I love the Knight of Justice. You can just tell that that SWING is going to be powerful. I'm really excited to see profiles for the new units.
Phew, I'm gonna wait for better pictures but this is my first impression: - Line troops in cloaks look pretty cool, thankfully no repacks - Daofei again(!) with sword in hand, probably useless to me, what a wasted opportunity! - Guilang BSG, masterful troll by CB, but probably a good conversion base - Hundun Sniper, need to see better pictures but looking nice so far - Jujak, Flamer dude (totally called it), need better pictures though, meh on first glance - PanO stuff looks overall solid on first glance, but I'll need to see better pics to make a final judgement - KoJ with a nice flowing cloak, I like that - Infirmaerererer has strong Game of Thrones vibes going for him, but he knows nothing - Is that an Orc with a Marksman Rifle? Either way, nice cloak - Dire Foes will probably be a pass for me. Hammer dude looks ridiculous (Space Wolf) and the Yu Jing Uighur looks a bit stiff on first glance - Merc Ninja Sniper looks pretty cool Conclusion: Probably not going to buy this set, but rather throw my money at She Konnit for select pieces.
Let me just use Knauf's list to give my 2 cents on the Yu Jing minis. Pan-O was a mistake...and so are the scuplts ;) - Line troops...more Zanshi for possible Links. Besides that: no use. Got old Kempeitei that will fullfill my need for hooded troopers. - Daofei again(!)...nothing more to add. - Guilang BSG...maybe the only useful model in this pack...IF I could field more than two. - Hundun Sniper...Haidao or Daoying models will do for that. - Jujak, Flamer dude...Haidao will do for that as well. Honestly, having quite a selection of Yu Jing models, for me this pack seems quite uninteresting. For beginners? Yeah, definitely something to get their hands on.
Umm, is that a HMG on that Daofei? Look at the photo where it's facing down the Knight thing. It's got no rear magazine, so that excludes the multi rifle. It's either a BSG, Spitfire or HMG.
I like Hundun and Guilang, Zhanshi(srsly). But Jujak and Dao looks like it could use some tinkering job.. Most likely a braid. PanO side looks pretty cool tbh, KOJ really rocks, Snow Orc is ORC so idc. Yup its a flaming chicken. Just like the model, it throws flame.
Is it a guard pose for sure? I mean, If KOJ is holding the sword overhead but in front, then for sure it would be, although sword pointed downwards wpuld be preferable. As the mini is, i think it is more midswing and a bad one at that, very telegraphed and easy to parry/dodge. Notice she has the crossguard behind her front arm, which is never good inswordfighting as you dont want to present your shoulder to the opponents.
