I recently bought a Szalamandra on eBay for what I thought was a great price. Pretty much half off. But turns out I bought a resin print of the TAG. is this still usable or did I just get scammed for an unusable but great good looking model?
How's the size? If it's somewhat the same it's usable. Plenty of S7 are waay bigger than their silhuette anyways.
Report the seller for selling counterfeits, if you used PayPal I'd open a dispute too. Technically it's not ITS legal as it's not made by Corvus Belli, if in any doubt check with the TO, some might consider using pirated models a faux pas.
You can technically play with labeled cylinders and anything in between but yes you got scammed. I would appreciate you reporting them.
I have reported the listing. I’ll try to get my money back. But I am a casual player. I don’t think anyone would mind that I use it. Still I am going to try getting my money back for a REAL one.
In casual games just admit "Hey, I got scammed on ebay, mind if I use it anyway?" and I would be fine. Glad you reported the seller.
in casual games I see sometimes even other companies stuff that just look cool. Talk with your friends and I suppose you will have no problem. In oficial tournaments that's another topic and you have to talk with the TO about it. On the other side, you can use it for dioramas, conversions, bases for other miniatures and so
Well, that sucks. On the bright side, you can practice your colour scheme on the pirated mini before you get the real one, it isn't an issue for casual games, it would still look great on your shelf, and when you get an official Szally you can run something ridiculous as "Double Szalamandra" List you would have never bought 2 real minis for.
If it wasn't declared as a recast in the offer (which would still be shady af), I'd request a refund. You didn't receive what was advertised.
