I would use the shit out of this. BSG Daofei definitely could use something else. FO, mines, or a DTW would make him worth considering over the other variants. Grenades could be very cool too, and keep him distinct from the Zhencha. Hell, grenadier BSG Daofei could be a White Banner exclusive profile. I'd be super down with that. I mean, we'll get none of that, so I'll not bother fantasizing. I'll just circle back to hoping that it's not a BSG variant.
Also with ava higher than 2 it will be possible to include more unorthodox profiles without any major drawbacks.
That was my dream for years. Since a BSG Guilang massacred half of my enemy forces but couldn't push a single button, i hoped for a FO/BSG variant like the CG so that he could get some mileage out of his high wip.
Hopefully C1 or N4 bring something else beyond killy to the BSGs. But if both were BSGs it'd be a waste, imo. I hope they will give one a mid or long range option like spitfire or sniper to support the shotgunner rather than both doing the same job. Makes me think of something like a SPAS12 or Benelli M4, those kind of military/police semi auto shotguns with pump action backups. And having means to be sure it cycles and fires quickly is exactly what you'd want in a shotgun intended for violent boardings, possibly in low atmo that could affect cycling.
The shotguns a bit silly, the pump is too big and can't move forward. No pistol grip is also a bit strange for a combat shotgun. At least it has a butt stock, unlike the Ariadnan thing. The original boarding shotgun was much cooler.
I hope we get it today, but last year the Spiral Corps one was uploaded on Monday 8th March, which would be next Monday. Not long still, but longer than today!

Just got to add here that I LOVE the Guilang with BSG. I’m sure it’s great on the Daofei as well. I used the Daofei BSG in missions that are area control and didn’t need a specialist much. I also use them in Shasvastii with Shrouded. Fantastic Designated Target killers! So I would not cry if it’s a BSG at all on either one. I’m really happy they are having another nationality in the Yu Jing. I think its good showing that YJ is more than just Han Chinese. The next spec ops box coming out is having a character with a Uighur name as well. I hoping we have some more as well.
Before Libertos were a thing, BSG was mi second-to-go profile for Guilangs (#1 was and still is the FO Deployable Repeater). I don't like the Daofei BSG mainly because I use the Zhencha BSG for that job (since it's also an specialist with Flash Pulse). But infiltrators with camo state and BSG? Amazing first turn attack pieces to shoot cheerleaders and linkteams. I also like the Liu Xing BSG for this job, but it's less reliable/requires more setup.
