It's starting to get under my skin the assumptions people make regarding Code One, like as if there's some hard rules and insurmountable obstacles that will limit what CB can and can't do with the special skills, stats and costs for units in C1 compared to N4

 

Thanks, I wasn't aware that Neoterra had recycled contents. Bit of a bummer to hear, but if they release the new stuff separately for people who don't want ineffectual paper weights that seems like a classy way to do it.

I'll admit that while I really don't like having 3 extra generic Zhanshi, my basing choices actually compels me to have extra Zhanshi on the appropriate base (the ones I have now are unfortunately on ISS bases because I'm a part-time village idiot)

 

Probably not happening because of only 3 dice being included. If it is starter set they have to give every tool to play those models and hmg won't function without 4 dice. Or is burst getting reworked?

 

You can pick up dice and roll them again. The current kits already require you to do that. Also technically the kits are giving you 6 dice, the players are capable of sharing.

 

Red Veil had HMGs on both sides (Hsien and Al Fasid)

You get six dice total, and your opponent won't ever need more than one (no SuppFire in Operation boxes so far) so you just use one of the "enemy" dice.

That crocodile is a female if you look closely. Does this means that the Knight of justice is the one in the picture? It could be the Lazarus Knight but the old order had a green cross which wouldn't match the color scheme on the box art.

 

It's ok mate, I get it. I'm also allergic to salt and it does get worse whenever there's a new product or announcement on the horizon. Sorry I wasn't more clear.

 

Is beyond red veil going out of production? I can't remember seeing it on the discontinued list.

 

IIRC all the 2 player kits will go out of production and they'll do one 2 player box per year.

 

Can I just say though as someone who has like 10 celestial guard 14 moderators 21 alguaciles and about nine Zhanshi including older sculpts and coverted duplicates... I'm okay with new Zhanshi minis.

 

Nothing is repackaged, everything is new. So I was told.

 

If they did that whilst pumping the piano side with brand new units needing brand new sculpts it would be a inviting a lot of upset. They should probably head this off.

 

Head off what? Haven’t all the other “Operation” boxes been entirely new sculpts? One person baselessly speculating Kaldstrøm (in face of all the others having all new sculpts) being repacks doesn’t seem to merit much of a response.

 

How many of each sculpt do you have? Is it a mix of old & new sculpts? I wish I had that amount of Moderators. I'm close to 10 male Fusiliers in my own collection since I like their designs. Glad to see another person who has an interest in common line troops.

 

Wonder they will change faction dice designs. RV/IS dices were kinda bland imo

 

So? Would you rather less information for some reason?

 

I'm hoping above aall else they make clear dice. RV dice were also fairly unbalanced with a tendency for even numbers...

 

Ugh, no, please keep the dice legible, translucent dice are no "fairer" and are just harder to read, and fancy dice like the ones from Q Workshop are an abomination.
