If you can find the room, a single regular order in group 2 can go a long way. Allows you to save your 3 helots from the BTV with a coordinated order and give you the option to coordinate shoot with them during the active turn.
What does the Montesa do? Big dude that's easy to kill The Cutter can push Buttons (add a Techbee for WIP11). You really really want a Sensor to bail out your Cutter from CC. Either Pathfinder or ZC Jammer replacing the Montesa would work - maybe even make it your LT. Fugazis seem to be a lot better than Mulebots for that kind of list and the mission, being faster, having Mimetism and a Flashpulse to defend themselves. Also Sniffers for Sensor sweeps helping your Cutter fight Markers. Sounds like you have the slot open to run a list 2 featuring Fugazis, ZC Jammer and a Techbee, in addition to the list you posted.

If you're looking for something to help with BTV, an Orc link could be the way to go. You can leave it in your DZ and not worry about the link all dying off at the end of turn one. It also gives you a big beat stick to leave your DZ with, or one to occupy the middle with strong aro presence

Since we're all discussing Varuna here, I wanted to drop my five cents as well. This TAG-focused list isn't necessarily meant for the scenarios you mentioned. Just a generic build I've been thinking about. What do you think of taking ZC Jammer, ZC KHD and 3 repeaters (Fusilier FO, 3x Fugazi) to counter enemy hackers & camo. Besides carrying repeaters the Fugazi can also lay sniffers which would allow the Jammer to deny the enemy re-camoing their units. I also have a fusilier hacker as part of my core link, the idea is to keep him out of harm's way and have him as an additional support (to drop white noise among other things). I'm sorry, but the opponent can enter camo in the ZoC of the sniffer, just not in ZoC of the sensor (and Fugazi are AVA 2, you have 3 in the list). Also white noise is a program in a HD+, fusi just has a regular HD, it's not a program he has access to. Do you won't to make some changes and we can discuss it here?
That isn't correct, rules said: A trooper with the Special Skill CH: Camouflage or CH: TO Camouflage cannot return to their Camouflaged or TO states inside the Zone of Control of an enemy Sniffer as long as there is a trooper with Sensor in that army that is not in a Null state.
Good catch, I was working based on this one. Still, 3 Fugazi is one too many and the regular HD can't use white noise. SENSOR AREA A trooper's Sensor Area is the Area of Effect of his Sensor Special Skill, and it comprises both his Zone of Control (ZC) and the Zones of Control of allied Sniffers.

Hmm it seems Varuna doesn't have access to a HD+, and since Kamau Hacker has the same regular HD as the Fusilier, looks like white noise is off the table. So that leaves me with what? Adding a Kamau hacker to the core link, because I need a Hacker anyway to be able to take REM's. So that I can take the Fugazi and leverage the Sniffer + Jammer combo. I'm counting on the Hacker, the KHD, the Jammer and the Sniffers to keep my Cutter safe(r). But something in the back of my head is telling me a 20ish model Ariadna list will still out-match this list both in firepower and utility. Is there currently any way to make Cutter list viable? You already have a KHD and a Tag, any of them let's you put rem on the list. Don't feel bad about the lack of White Noise in Varuna, we don't have it anywhere in PanO hahahahaha

imo quinn is a useless profil swap him for kamau HMG, U can remove the fugazi G2 and put one LRL helot into a SMR but I think you need a palbot because if not having one a good player will get that your cutter is around your machinist ^^
even downgrading the machinist and eliminating the coordinated order to take the Helots out of the contaminated zone (in case of going turn one) im 4 points short (dont forget i have to upgrade a fusi to FO now). Cutter comes out to play and decimate the Haris, a lone rem and makes the Mowang flee HB parrots the sniper link, kills one that doesnt react he tries to flank the HB with the Daoying Lt2 but trips the parrot, dodges, botches the kill, flank my Cutter in SF with the 4 man link and tries twice to kill it but doesn't work Cutter flanks the rest of the link and kills, kills the sniper, kills the mowang, move some stuff to the consoles we have to leave there because the place was closing, but had more zones and consoles Morals of the night: 2/3 Helots do much more work than the Kamau sniper on link
