I used one of the printing services online to get mine.

Hey guys! Built some MDF scatter over the weekend. Also started over on the plaster terrain since it didn’t stick to the expanding foam base AT ALL lol. Carved in the sand stone looking rock features with a wire brush and started priming it all! Waiting on some model railroad tunnel texture walls for the inside of the cave and then I can get it primed up as well!

Insulation foam tends to generate a smooth surface, and even end a bit oily. Without some preparation like sanding or something working as "primer", I can see "rigid" things not sticking. Or cracking, as it also has some flex even when dry.

Changes look even better IMO, and flat top surfaces, so less complains about placing miniatures.

I'm pretty sure that everyone's already know this but it may be useful to link it here anyway:

So I’ve decided to sideline this project for now for a couple of reasons.

1-I am a little swamped right now, and being 8 weeks from rumble I’d much rather go for best painted army.

2-transportation is a nightmare, it’s too wide for every plastic container I find and the cave section is almost too big for my back seat.

3-play tested it for the past week and even a tournament and everyone just avoided the edges and most of the rules to make it more accessible (like rocks and vines acting as ladders).

I’m going to have to go back and redesign a lot of things to make it easier on players

I was wondering how this was going to work out. It was looking real cool, but also real bulky and inconvenient. Of course, now I wonder if there's a market for inflatable terrain...

The solution would be to make smaller sections that are assembled on location rather than big pièces hard to transport.

This project looks great. Would be nice to see you working on it in the future. ;-)
