Nah, I was thinking about having 10 saladins on the table and look at my enemy's Speculo Killer XD (she'll be sent against a TAG or HI if I have one, however, or used in a cheerleading killing spree attempt instead).

    @xagroth
    Yeah, that definitely works.
You know, I wanted to get a mini of Saladin, if only just for the collection (and also now that some people suggest he's in RTF), but I'm not sure if I have will to buy 10 of them, nevermind painting them.

On the other hand, RTF doesn't seem to have any Holo so far, so might as well... The question is, how to use Saladin in such an environment without relying on hypothetical full Zhayedan link that is going to be pretty expensive.

I would use stand-ins, frankly. I have enough miniatures from other factions to place on the table 10 "unique versions" of Saladin, which is easier for annotating what is each one (instead of having 10 clones with a number on the base).

On Ramath, even if no Holo options are provided, I would consider him, then again I'm used to have obvious Lt options (I started playing with Aleph before HSN3 came out XD). Then again, I hop a CoC profile will show up.

Strategos lv3 is huge - many games are won and lost at the deployment.

He is probably the best Strategos lv3 in the game - he is reasonably cheap, resilient and his lt order is usually best when transfered to another troop anyway ( different from a Marut or a Avatar, for example).

RTF also looks mighty expensive and will probably be running in one order group. Saladin really helps those LI style lists shine.

He can still be hidden behind walls, because, unlike an Aleph LT, he is not leading the charge himself. Then, even if he's attacked, he isn't quite as fragile as he first seems.

I'm new to Haqq, I presume this is a new sectorial?

Ramath Task Force, the new Sectorial we expect to get this wave, with (presumably) the troops in Red Veil, Tarik, the Khawarijs...

I do not use him much, but when I do he has always been worth it. As others have mentioned the list does need to be built around him, but hes always great.

If he is in Ramah. Which he may not, seeing as he is not part of the Haqqislamite military.

Saladin is not going to be part of RTF. It was announced that an O-12 sectorial is being designed, which Saladin is a part of.

I thought they didn't double dip with characters in sectorials?

Obviously I could be wrong. Didn't realize I said something so definitive.

@oldGregg Avicenna is in both Bakunin and Hassissan Brhram. So it's possible and would be very intereating it Saladin was in both.

And is a Mercenary. Same with Valerya Gromoz (Corregidor, Druze, Mercenary), Mc Murrough (Corregidor, Mercenary), Saito Togame (JSA, Druze, Mercenary), Scargace (QK, Druze, Mercenary), Musashi (JSA, Mercenary)....

So yeah, so much for the "double dipping" XDDD

I'll add that, as for this moment, the only thing we (tentatively) know about O-12 is that it has Saladin and Aleph's remotes (but as far as I know, no idea if that includes Dakinis and Garudas, but I wouldn't be surprised).
