So, I am relatively new to the game, been playing since November. I have tried a few factions but decided I really like the aesthetic of Nomads and got a starter and the Tunguska pack. So I decided I would like some insight from experienced nomad players. So i wanted to do a two part thing here. What sectorial or vanilla do you play, and what is your top 3 auto-include profiles in your nomad list?

Bonus if you tell the new player why they are a must add.

    For Tunguska Sectorial:

    HECKLER Combi Rifle, Jammer, 1 FastPanda / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 23)

Solid BS 12 and WIP 13, starts in marker state and retains Mimetism afterwards, deploys further ahead on the board, has a Jammer (which is a very useful tool) and brings a Fast Panda to support your Hacker for additional utility. For 23 points this is just great value and flexibility. Also, you can bring 3 of these guys if you really want.

KRIZA BORAC HMG / Heavy Pistol, CC Weapon. (2 | 54)

Tunguska's big boy. Solid BS 13 HMG with Full Auto 2, which is the reason why this units is special. A B5 HMG on a single miniature (and no fireteam core to drag around) is a pretty nice thing to have in addition to your Fireteam Core.

    ZONDNAUT Spitfire / Pistol, Knife. (1 | 32)
[IMG] ZONDMATE Chain Rifle, Smoke Light Grenade Launcher / Electric Pulse. (5)

Fastest thing in Tunguska with Mimetism, Smoke, Spitfire and a DTW + a second body to put the pressure on the enemy target, clear perimeter weapons etc. This thing can cover its own approach with smoke and get into a favourable position to unload the Spitfire. The Assault Hacker is also an option if you want a fast specialist.

A unique unit with great miniatures. It's also a Transformer.

I play all of nomads and I gotta say tunguska is my favorite to play.

Marry problems is my top auto include. Being a killer and an assault hacker with the icebreaker and lightning upgrades she can reach out and touch a lot of hackables. Starting 4” outside your deployment and climbing plus makes her very mobile. Hyperdynamics and ODD is a great defensive package in most situations. Zapper for a template weapons that scares HI, remotes and TAGs the most, pitcher for increasing your hacking influence, and a submachine gun in case she gets into a gunfight. She is such a great kit for her points.

Interventor is my second auto include. Strong LT choice, but kind of obvious. I usually take it normal with a Securitate LT and play shell games with my opponent because they always try to go for the interventor. But the kicker for me is white noise. The meta relies on MSV a lot to counter visual mods, so with tunguskas strong repeater coverage you can exploit this by dropping white noise before engaging these troops.

Heckler jammer is my 3rd usual auto include and knauf really covered all the bases lol. One thing I do want to point out is how underestimated the fast panda is. It automatically moves out 8” and doesn’t generate AROs. It’s as much an obvious profile as the intruder in Corregidor so people try to steer clear of its jammer range while forgetting the panda. Move 4” up possibly, throw panda out 8” and repeaters have an 8” ZOC. Effectively giving the heckler a possible 16” influence in a single order to give your hackers a strong advantage. My local group is starting to wise up to my panda abuse (sorry PETA), but when I travel to tournaments like satellite events I’m constantly catching opponents off guard with it.

Lunokhods, Transductors, perseus and puppetactica are also core units for the sectorial.

Lunks to body guard for the squishy support pieces in back. Transductors for repeater coverage, sniffers and cheap ARO. Percy is a good source of smoke and great at rolling around as a solo kill piece, puppet tactica provide you a cheap order with the PM and minelayer.

I’m recently all about the Puppetactia. You’ve basically got a disposable assault haris team in what is really an elite low numbers army? So you push up and kill stuff with them (remember they get shock), pitch up in a good spot, your enemy has to go in and scrub them out (and maybe gets some more boarding shotguns to the face)... and you’ve lost no orders yet?

Also the models are nowhere near as bad as I thought, I’ll try and post a pic of mine.

When your hiding s1 models behind total cover and cackling to yourself manically, you’ll understand.

Our hackers are flat out our best deals in the faction. Mary and the Interventor especially. Even our other hackers bring speed, or high WIP. Problem is that outside of hacking vulnerable targets there are steep diminishing returns on multiple hackers because most units are largely not affected by hacking.

The Puppetactica is another incredible deal for points, but has a glaring vulnerability that will be exploited if you're a newer player. The puppetmaster minelayer is a generally a good unit in most cases, close to an autoinclude.

Our best gunfighters are the Kriza, Hollow man core, Grenzer spitfire in a Securitate core.

Good utility units are Lunokhod, Stemplar, Meteor Zond, Mary Problems and Hecklers.

My personal favorites are Solo Perseus and Raoul.
