They look nice, is that a drum fed LGL, adhl or boarding shotgun? Looks like a profile tweak if it's not an adhl

 

If I am not wrong it should be, from left to right: Combi rifle, ADGL, Multi SR and Spitfire

 

I think it's the Nomad ADHL.

 

Kaplans do not have a Multirifle profile. Isn't that a CombiRifle on the left guy or do they get new profiles?

 

it's an aleph combi rifle.

 

You are right! I continue to f*** up. I still mistake multi and combi sometimes

YJ MSR and Spitfire

 

Looking forward to Kaplans. Its great to have some good guys!

 

The detail on those sculpts looks fantastic. XD not sure why I wasnt expecting the gender split on them.

Unlike the Druze or Brawlers, the Kaplans struck me as the most professional mercenary unit and was hoping they would have been more uniform in their weapons. Stuck with Aleph weapons or all swapped to Yu Jing weaponry. (The Yu Jing Sniper is one of the hardest to convert into a combi rifle and also one of the least visually appealing 'multi snipers' for me)

Really wish the Spitfire Kaplan didnt have her upper body nearly turned 90° That pose always looks a little awkward (especially once on the table) and she is going to be awful to try and line up on the new bases. Gonna have to prep the bone saw I guess get her facing a bit better.

Hope we might see one more pop out sometime to round their numbers to 5. Maybe one holding a blitzen and combi. Probably be like the brawlers and it will be packaged with something else like a book.

 

Them being professional doesn't really have much bearing on how uniform their weapons are - they're an independent company so they will just buy what weapons they deem best (or probably more realistically in budget) from all over the human sphere.

Obviously aesthetically speaking is different, but in universe they could have a mish mash of weapons and be no less professional.

 

These new Kaplan look nice and I might buy them, but I honestly prefer the old sculpts in this case .

would be cool to own some female Kts though! Glad about that .

 

Can we please see if the Zhencha everyone uses gets a nice model now?

Not bad. Not as cool as the hacker model. I think it would look better without that DEP though.

 

Pretty solid model. Maybe it looks a bit overworked with the DEP in one hand while firing the SMG with the other… but it still makes sense. It's a good thing the same miniature remembers you the unit is equipped with a DEP, something more than one player might have forgotten during a game.

Bonus point for representing the FO device attached to the SMG.

 

Better than "not bad" but, yes without DEP it would be even better ;-)

I mean, Krit can get a Feuerbach and its not even optional in the blister, but here we must have the DEP on the model and it tries to handle both? On the back would be enough.
