Hi, The Gwailo is finished. Spoiler: Gwailo 1 Spoiler: Gwailo 2 And i am pledging two more minis for Dezember. The Apsara Cyberdancer and Chain-Colt Druze. (That was enough painting black) Spoiler: December
I'll try to finish the shasvasti from wildfire and, weather permitting for basecoating, those from beyond
Hi, The Chain Colt Druze is finished. Spoiler: Druze 1 Spoiler: Druze 1 (2) For the next ones i need to refine the orange but everything else went pretty fine. Sorry for the bad pictures (the camera of my wife hates me ) I started with the Apsara, which was a complete disaster. I wont finish that mini any time soon, so i will change it into another druze. Spoiler: New Application If you have any suggestions how i can improve my painting your criticism is very welcome . Greetz Oni
And my pledge is (almost) complete. I will prepare a new base for it and I've order some decals to add some marking.
New pledge for december: the bases (I may start the remotes if it feels natural but I doubt to complete all of them).
Finally found some time to start the bases. That's my first attempt at anything so "elaborate" fro bases. Two sand themed bases are missing, I'll add them in the next update.
Sand bases didn't turn as expected but once I'll put a black border it could be enough. I'll try to add some pink fluo osl on the base with the small white dots. Yellow parts are messy but as I'll put some foam damage on them, it's not a problem. Even if I find those kinda okay for a first try, they look a bit too monochromatic but I have no idea how to change that. Any comment is welcome.
So... I must paint this fast if I want to paint it within this month... Here is my second nikoul. As always, I had started painting before realizing that I had to take a picture...
Hiho, Finished the Druze, just in time . Spoiler: Druze New Minis for January. Spoiler: January Have a good start in the new year.
Hello, My first time trying this painting pledge thing, I am going to try and finish my Invincible Army Zuyongs and Kris Kokram for January. Spoiler: Invincible Army ~AA
Airbrush work is done. Those remotes are a pain to pin. Astonishingly, the "big" ones are even more difficult to pin so I choose to glue them on my painting support. Unfortunately, during the last highlight step, the left one unglued while I was airbrushing and fall on the floor (a hard one obviously) making me flood the working surface with half the paint loaded in the airbrush. As you can see, the central wing is severely hit. I don't know how I'll fix it and it may end to full repaint of this one. Anyway, I'm happy with how I choose to set the highlighted spots on those (no tuto to help me here) but I'm not sure it will fit my reference mini. It may become more like it once I'll do some color blocking.
One down, three to go. Spoiler: Yoakong #1 The hi-res pics are not friendly with it but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned even without any panel with different color to break all this blue. I will add some faction decals once I receive them.
Thank you, glad you like him. Yes the eyes turned out pretty well, despide the stupid cappy that really dont make it easier to paint faces :).
