Welcome to the nomination of the greatest CC Warriors of Haqqislam competition, where YOUR VOTES and HARD FACTS would decide the victor! Here we're not going to take into account the pricing of our warriors, but their strengths, potential and even dirty tricks they can pull out!
    Aaaand let the competition begin!

#1 Hussein Al-Djabel! Hailing from the Hassassin Bahram and representing Fidays, this masterful impersonator fancies a deadly Viral CCW, Smoke Grenades and an impressive Martial Arts L4. If he has his target in sight, he will easily reach it, and what would follow could be hardly called a battle.

#2 Kasym Beg, the one and only Kum Chieftain! An impressive rider and the fastest of the CC Warriors, this man is ready to rush in and smash your face. He lacks in skills, yet still has a decent CC23, very strong arms and a very choppy EXP CCW. However, as we all know, life could be quite tough for the bikers in this game.

#3 Tarik "The Man" Mansuri. The Captain Haqqislam. The Big Guy. The Armour-Less Space Marine of Infinity. The one with the strongest legs. We know him and we love him... as a gunfighter. But what about his CC? He hits really hard with his DA CCW and Poison combo, has a decent CC, can jump over the building just to plunge attack you... But he only got a mere Martial Arts L1, which is disappointing enough to be offensive. Sometimes it feels like he could've looked better with no MA at all. But nevertheless, with higher MA or not - he's going to break you in half through pure strength and mobility alone.

#4 Nahab. Killer Hacker Nahab. The very angry hacker guy. We gotta give this guy credit - his deployment options are great, he wields a Viral CCW and gain an IMP marker state - something Hussein Al-Djabel is praised for. He can negate CC skills of other warriors and achieve an impressive CC25. He can also save you some Orders through Assault and, later on, Frenzy.

#5 Asawira. Doctor Asawira (and his Nasmat Sidekick). We had an Impersonator. We had an Infiltrator. We had guys with high mobility. But still, this one is the dirtiest fighter of them all! True, he only wields a Shock CCW, and his MA is not that impressive at Level 2. But with the help of his Nasmat pal, he can pull out a Change Facing bait along with an unopposed CC attack all in one order! At PH17 from his MA, it would be enough to kill of most light units! All you have to do is use stealth to reach your target, while your Nasmat simultaniously makes some noise behind him, forcing your target to turn around. And if you are to target a heavier foe, you can risk sacrificing your Nasmat by entering the same close combat for B2 PH18 attacks from Asawira!

That's all from me. Did I forget someone? Oh, right. Husam Yasbir... eh...

#6 Husam Yasbir. He can pretend to be some other random guy, get Holoechoes and.. stuff.. But most importantly - he's also here!

Make your votes, express your opinions down below, and let the best Warrior win!

Speaking strictly about Close Combat killers there can be only one.
    And he's not a highlander ;)

Best CC in our army, highest Martial Arts and Impersonation to get him easy to his preferred target. What's not to love? He takes out enemy's lieutenants, specialists, doctors and what you like.
My favourite and most used Fiday.

Next place in my opinion goes for Tarik - MA L1 gives him stealth, which is important. High mobility, CC and -3 for enemy is nice, and he's tough and resistable, so can withstand being unlucky. And it's great that he can deal with enemies in the old, traditional ways, when they're close enough. And the mechanics make that work - there are many situations, when it's better to hit someone in the head with his big sword then to shoot them from range zero.

I've also used Kasym a lot and he killed his share of enemies (what I showed in his figure - http://www.coolminiornot.com/442628 - was a real story ;) ), but now I think that the third place should go for Nahab.
Our first Natural Born Warrior in Haqqislam. I always thought that NBW would be great for Khawarij, making them more versatile and giving them an edge with their CC 20 and Poison. And I'd love to see Tarik with NBW.
But - we got Nahabs and I want to use them more. For now I played few games with them and they have potential.
    Deadly potential ;)

    PozdRawiam / Greetings

PS. I've also used Yasbir not once and he did rather well as a specialist and sometimes as a killer. TBH I used almost all units from the list and everyone killed some enemy in CC - except Asawira ;)

Al-Djabel is the clear winner, but I'm disappointed in the lack of love for the Nahab Aeromobile Team! Viral CCW + 22 CC + NBW is pretty scary, not to mention AD/Assault/NWI to set the fight up.

Asawira can take on multiple of the strongest fighters in the human sphere at once. Easy vote

Voting for Al-Jabel because his deployment rules make him the only trooper that can practically engage things in CC. Nahab can be close second, but it's an "in a pinch" thing IMO, it can take quite a lot to set CC up.

Others seem a bit too situational as CC combatants to me.

Agree mostly, although I want to add that with the KHD Nahab the Marker State helps a lot to get into CC. The sad thing is, when Frenzy kicks in, that wont work anymore:-/

Also a shoutout for the Asawira Haris...their CC abilities help a lot where they usually go in a game. Apart from Ninjas and other camoed Infiltrators, they are real TAG killers for me. The best example was a game against Onyx, where I parked them on a building in the middle of the table for the reactive turn. In my reactive a Sphinx came out of HD close by, climbed up to them and thanks to Kinematica I could engage it with the Spitfire and the Doctor. The Muyib just Dodged to get closer and also engage in the follwowing turn. Also because of the Flamethrowers...
End of story, three orders later that Sphinx was unconscious.

So yeah, those guys do work in CC.
