Take a look at Anvil Industry. They have a game called Afterlife, where you can find some resin civilian figures, a bit expensive. Lucretia Chang (8 pounds) Lena Petrova (6.5 pounds) Raul Tennyson (8 pounds) Senator Jakys Thorne (8 pounds)
Yeah, I have a lot of $10 civilians from various places... And thanks for introducing me to Metal Oak Casting! (Though my wallet may want to have words with you later... ) Their civvies are fine, though. I have them and they fit right in with Infinity.
So far small range at Metal Oak Castings, but the couple of usable ones look nice. Pics with Infinity ones? The shop ones, using the bases as reference, give that chunky look that is not very Infinityish.
How about making them yourself? A quick web search for people silhouettes will give you a lot of them, print them on thick paper, hopefully black to save time, then take your scissors and cut them off there, and stick them to bases/coins/washers with plain school clear tape. Or am i being too much of a thrifty person? It likely won't be 60 silhouettes (cutting out that many would grow old quickly), but would be a work of an afternoon with something that wouldn't require shipping over the Atlantic.
Take a look at Hasslefree minis. Not very expensive, nicely casted and they have an extensive range. They have some of my favourite minis for fantasy.
Hi all, Merry Christmas, Looking through Etsy I found these figures; look suitable as Infinity civilians:
Looks like they could be scaled 40k-esque, but might be worth a look. Or would be if shipping wasn't a fiver more than the actual minis for me >_<
Yeah, they were avaliable via a third party/shop, where they were out of place (the others were superheroes, sculpted in crude 80s style), and then lost tracks of them too. Size is correct, and style / quality is very high (or maybe not absurdly overdetailed) IMO. The Havoc Protocol girls and squad (same Etsy shop) are a bit thinner and "smoother", not bad either.
Happy new year to everybody... Effigy minis received; a fresh pic comparing these minis with Infinity minis. The LEGO blocks are there to provide scale. In the left, Szalamandra pilot, in the middle the Effigy Founders and in the right the O-12 High Comissioner. These founders give away a curious aristocratic vibe. My conclusion: they are just taller people or they come from a low gravity place. At least the heads are not too big...
I have these two minis. The infinity minis you’re using for scale are not that useful for comparison; the szalamandra pilot is the earliest mini still available & the O-12 commissioner is short even for the late N2 “realism” stage. As you can see the effigy pair have long necks, but they fit nicely in N3 scale.
