hi I'm only an amateur painter (and a paintbrush destroyer) but here's my OSS and (some) mercs. the camera makes them look better than they are(i cant do human faces to save my life). I might put up my ariadna models later when there's some better light

Great color scheme! Your white has a very good coverage which helps to make it „pop out“ visually, but you achieve this by very thick layers of paint. In case you are curious about how to improve, I‘d suggest working on white primer and trying to build up the colors with 2-3 thin coats from a wet palette. This would probably also reduce the wear on your brushes ;)

thanks for the advice! I tend not to use a primer as i get heavy handed with it and destroy all detail or the model so i just do layer coats of paint.

Have you tried brush-on primer? I use it all the time and never had a problem with it covering up details. Since it works like paint you just have to make sure to not overdo it. A little bit goes a long way and you can always add more if your first coat doesn't cover enough.

Vallejo is the brand I use. There are other brands but it is the one I've used all this time. Make sure you pick up the 60 ml./6.67 fl.oz bottle as it has lasted me a long time. Worth every penny in my opinion especially since you can prime anytime & in any weather.

I back @Golem2God choice as this PU primer is hard to be heavy with.
The only weakness I'll find is that you are encourage to wait 12/24h to let it cure properly.

I never used it myself by some use Gesso. It's an art product used to prime canvas.

I also do brush-on primer. I use Army Painter's. It works very well for me though as Koin said, you have to wait some. I don't personally find this to be a problem as I use the time to plan my painting.

Only time I used another method was for my GW Valkyrie dropship. I used black spray primer (and left it as the main color).

Quite nice work so far and glad to see that the primer works out for you! Maybe some washes, at least a heavy thinned black or sepia one (nuln oil), could be something to try out? That is a great and easy way to get more depth into your models and especially on CB-miniatures they are doing wonders.

@dhellfox How do you like O-12 so far? Will you be upgrading & expanding them as the faction gets more releases down the road?

i played O-12 once during a tournament running a double gamma, sirus and delta (all hail the almighty N3 riotstopper) list during the month when they were released. the fight i won i only lost a sirus remote, and the double fatsuits (gammas) locked down the entire board with my left one racking up 75% of the enemy list in kills.

I would like to play more but the only time i seem to get a game of infinity at the maitland store is during comps every 1-2 months. i will probably continue to collect them but really depends on how N4 affects them and their signature weapon

@dhellfox That is quite the match from your description. I hope they perform well for you in the future. I wonder what N4 will bring to the tabletop? The only thing we have to go on is CB simplifying the rules to make it easier to remember and not need to look up the rulebook.
