Okay, I get it. We all play to win... sometimes. We use efficient moves, strategize, think twice before performing an action. But how about introducing some style to our games? I suggest making a to-do list of some fun challenges to complete in our matches! No prizes, no competition. Just some non-standard, quirky or risky actions and mishaps: - "Ain't got time for this" - Eliminate a Camouflaged unit or 2+ Fireteam members with a Speculative shot. - "Rocket Jump" - Eliminate an enemy directly under you with a Circular Impact template weapon while performing a Super-Jump. - "It was me all along" - Have your Holo Unit masked as himself. - "Medical Mistake" - Fail a WIP roll for Doctor skill. - "Friendly Fire" - Fail a PH roll for a Unit after a Medkit shot. - "Flight of Icarus" - Have a unit with Super Jump die to fall damage. - "I'm comming for you" - Announce the presence of your TO trooper to your opponent (Hint: use Nasmat for this) - "The Judge" - Deploy your AD trooper in LOS of one or more enemy models, survive and eliminate them afterwards. - "The Undying" - Have your Trooper recover from Unconcious/NWI state three times. So, what do you think? Do you like this idea? Please leave your suggestions =)
"Extensive Collateral" kill two enemy troopers with a template weapon while targeting an unconscious enemy mini. Done that. Felt goooood
"Bob from accounting" - Deploy a Fiday in the enemy DZ, without using Impersonation state (and do not activate it during the game)
That's cute. My favorite trick in ISS is to rush in melee with a kuang-shi and then shoot at the engaged ennemy, hopefully dealing one wound to the kuang-shi in the process to have him explode. Very hard to pull off, but funny as hell!
"Beep-Boop, Meatbag" – have your model with CC of 19 or higher fail a face-to-face roll against an Electric Pulse.
"Rise, Lazarus!" - shoot an Unconscious model with a Doctor's Medkit pistol, at -6 range band and successfully revive them. I've attempted it recently, but missed :(
