Infinity Defiance, the new game from Corvus Belli

Gotta admit, I did not see that coming.

 

It's almost certainly not going to be ITS legal from the comments CB have made. They've been very clear in the past that they like the scale Infinity works at and don't want to change it.

 

Is it that much bigger than a Maggie? Based on the infantry beside it it looks what 10% bigger?

 

At the same time, if there were a mission where it is used as part of the scenery/environmental hazard I would be down

 

The way I see it right now, it's identical to the characters from the OUTRAGE box.

Nice pieces with their own rules in their own contained set of missions. outside that, they do kaputt in ITS/Army

 

We already passed the 300 Instagram likes goal, so hopefully we'll see the (non-ITS) Infinity profile soon!

 

Applying advanced technologies of Paint 6.1 and Eyeball Mk1, having compared the Uma-Megalodrone pair to Szally and a securitate, I deduce that silhouette 9 is about 100x100 mm, give or take 5mm each way. So about 30% bigger than a maggie, or in other words, it's freaking gigantic.

Knauf isn't in the Outrage box, he was Manga exclusive, then Dire Foes.

Oh Jethro is in the box right? Fair. Though I suppose part of the point of the story is that Jethro is Knauf...so maybe? I have no idea cloning situations are alittle much for me to handle this morning.

Todays newsletter from Corvus says the new Megalodron will be free for deluxe/platinium pledge (A plastic (PVC) miniature, over 10cm in size, that’ll be available free of charge for project sponsors from the Deluxe and/or Platinum pledges. The Megalodron will also be available as an add-on for 30€.) but there is nothing about it in the kickstarter news.

Who is right ?

 

Free for the deluxe/platinum backers, 30 euros for the normal backers

 

It was at 818k this morning. I think Revenant free for Platinum is certain now.

Man the Delivery box will be huge.

 

Both, the Megalodron is free with the Deluxe or Platinum pledge AND available as a €30 add-on for other pledges or if you want multiples.

 

Anyone who wants multiples should have their head examined... I want three.

I really hope that this MegaloManiac will be send in first wave.
It's the final mission of Defiance after all ;)
