As the name asks. would a HI that declares engage vs an enemy ahd using carbonite be a face to face roll? They are both targeting each other and can impact the success of the other, but a normal dodge isn't effective against a hacking attack. so unsure if engage would be.
Same opinion as @toadchild If you want face to face against hacking, you need to either reset or use an attack (CC attack, BS attack, hacking attack, comm attack)
It's 100% Normal Rolls. From Engage: If the Roll is successful, then the user Dodges all Attacks against him and moves into base to base contact with his target at the final location previously declared. From Dodge: Dodging Hacking Programs and Comms Attacks Dodge does not allow the user to evade Attacks caused by Hacking Programs or Comms Attacks, but the Reset Skill does.
