Sounds plausible, we have no new faction left that needs new sculpts (O-12) so what faction should get (around) 6 new sculpts? So yes, I think you might be right here, some heroes, some enemies as tokens and reinforcement packs.
The only way this next expansion could get better is if it turned out to be a Triad of Tohaa heroes with a Chaksa hero to fill that 4th slot! Seriously I'm happy to just get one hero for Tohaa, but it's fun to dream! :)
No, but you would send one on the mission to clean up the compromised assets once the mission has finished... Some bombastic righteous fury, smite the heathen, type of zealot who the Hexahedron keeps at arms length from the questionable aspects of the job so they can be used for that very purpose, while at the same time reporting back to the Military Orders that the Hexahedron is totes legit and does not do evil...
Then you're not sending a Paladin. You're sending a zealot/murder-priest. A hallmark of Paladins in RPGs has been the idea of redeeming those who have fallen. And yeah, you'd send a Hexa. You wouldn't let the Church in on any of this, since it'd be a power issue.
Totes agree. Tohaa want the mission to fail. maybe get some spiral minis. Longarms and a draal final boss?
Of course there is always the chance that the true motivations for hunting the Defiance crew, at the upper levels of Sphere decision-making, arent ACTUALLY that they're believed to be Shas, but that the stories they might tell having been through Acheron are politically inconvenient/could cause unrest. In which case, you're definitely sending a Hexa.
That's cool and all, but it again comes to this: They might not want the Church getting more power. I know that I'm for sure sick and tired of seeing Knights and Joan of Arc and other associated Church crap. Should have been shuffled off to NA2 and called it a day.
I hope this new expension get released. I hope we will know more next week. It will probably incent people to put the money for it.
I love the Church stuff, but agree with this. I'd prefer it had been allowed to be fully its own thing rather than being thrust in alongside jungle fighters and fishmen. But that ship has, I think, sailed. Enjoy the next Jeanne sculpt!
Church is also aligned to Nomads. St. Mary of the Knife. I see the Black Friar character for Defiance and raise the bet. Father Inquisitor Mendoza
That's cool. They're not, but that's cool. If JSA can be shuffled off into their own, independent power alongside of mercenary companies--a group that is effectively considered an independent power(with their own army to boot!) within PanO could easily be. Maybe we'll get lucky and the next event will have Joan get sepsitorized and lead the church into heresy. We could really reduce some SKUs then!
