Helots are among my favorite releases in 2019. It was worth waiting a year for these guys, especially since we also get to see some nice PanO weapons on them too. I've seen a few of my non-Infinity friends want to buy them as generic scifi minis.
Since it is trying to grab some pussy, or appears to be trying, it is also correctly called the Trumbra, and should be painted with orange, not red, skin.
Well, yes, that too. There is a reason I won't ever buy that model, and the Tactical Molester Umbra is it.
It was the first generally available resculpt of Joan though. The other one was limited with the Giraldez paint book, and the old one needed a resculpt.
Granted, but I still would not have bought it due to the Tactical Molester Umbra, even if I had to EvilBay a Giraldez Joan. And then we got the new Joan2, which is honestly a really nice model.
That's not really my problem, if I'm going to be honest. I'm not one of the people continually rewarding them for these "limited edition" sculpts. They know they'll get purchases from people, with no regards of whatever the product actually is, thanks to these LE sculpts.
It does seem like the frequency of LE releases has really gone up (and then finally gone insane with Defiance). No problem when it's a niche profile or the general release is the more generic of the two, but it's rarely the case anymore.
Frankly, it's been like this since the ITS packs are available to the general public for people who want it & the model.
I'm really surprised more people didn't buy the second Giraldez book. That book was absolutely worth the $$, regardless of mini attached to it.
