So Defiance gave us another Yu Jing-looking man, with wings of Garuda Tacbot and a friggin Daoying armor. Would this guy our man, or (lol) another Dashat man? His gun looks like YJ Marksman rifle though - and his name, Lei Gong, could be crudely spoken as 'Thunder Lord' in Chinese. I am curious!
Looks like boobs and hips seem wider than shoulders and Lei is predominantly used for girls. Pretty sure that's gonna be a fairly dainty model on the table ;) But yeah, the choice of landing pack is weird.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's not a Yu Jing combi. Magazine is wrong for combi from YJ, PanO or O-12. Also seems to.have an attachment. Almost looks like a dimorphed HMG with E/Mitter or Riotstopper attachment, but it's a bit TOO dainty so maybe a Marksman Rifle? Or maybe a Contender?
Maybe she will be a Lt. Lvl2 with Executive Order? So that you win an order for your NCO the moment she appears on the table? It could explain why she is a AD troop, but that will make her an easy target since the adversary will know from where this order comes from... Or maybe she is no Lt at all, but I won't bet on it since it would contradict the Daoying lore. Very nice model anyway! EDIT : aaaaand it's a dude. And apparently not a Daoying character too, so I'm even more curious...
I just saw a painted picture and it in the outcast box. This and a fat Yuan Yuan were the only non-O-12 pain jobs. LEI was in normal YJ colors so I doubt it's not just dashed.
This is one of the three hero silhouettes, right? Specifically the one that people in the O-12 forums thought was going to be a playable O-12 hero?
Yeah, some people thought it was a Delta pack at first (myself included) so suspicions want to Cuervo, this is honestly a lot more interesting result though. Though O-12 do already have their own hero with Cho.
Trying to figure out what his stats could be. Only thing I can imagine is a Daoying with AD but CH stripped down to Mimetism... soooooo... a Tiger Soldier?
What appears to be a Marksman Rifle and grenade launcher makes him very unique even if he's very similar to a Tiger in stats.
The attachment could be anything, Yu Jing seems to have the same shape for all attachments - grenade launcher looks like e/mitter looks like light shotgun. The gun is very much reminiscent of the Haqq Shock Marksman Rifle, though. An interesting thing about Lie word etymology is that it's sometimes written or morphed into Louie... that said, if he's a whole new thing with a whole new set of stuff, I'm hoping for a Louie with Holo2, because eat my superior dust, Cadmus and Bashi Bazouks
The attachement under the gun looks like a blitzen. The armor is interesting. It looks like an heavy daoying armor (torso's different, some more armor plates here and there). As for the garuda wings it's definitely super weird, can't wait to read his background!
