200 point Armoury is screaming out for a Knight or two. You need strong melee and CQB options to hold the armoury. So I'd go Vanilla and run something like: PanOceania ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 9 1 3 AUXILIA (Forward Observer) Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) AUXILIA Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) REGULAR Hacker (Hacking Device, FastPanda) Combi Rifle + Light Grenade Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1 | 23) KRAKOT RENEGADE Submachine Gun, Chest Mine / Pistol, DA CC Weapon. (0 | 15) KRAKOT RENEGADE 2 Chain Rifles, Grenades / Pistol, DA CC Weapon. (0 | 14) MAGISTER KNIGHT Panzerfaust, Light Shotgun / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 23) HELOT MILITIAMAN Red Fury / Pistol, Knife. (1 | 14) NISSE HMG / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 34) KNIGHT HOSPITALLER Doctor (MediKit) Combi Rifle / Pistol, DA CCW. (0 | 35) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) 3.5 SWC | 200 Points Open in Infinity Army
Thanks for your reply, as much as the knights are my least favourite part of PanO I should probably add some CC in
Fair enough, I can understand why the aesthetic doesn't work for some people. But for this mission they are pretty much necessary.
For Amory I like to have a Bounty hunter. They have pretty good short range options for cheap, a bounty L2 coming handy, that not only let them have sweet other random options but also an auto-loot for the panoply objectives.
I ended up using a modified version of your list admiral to minimise proxys. The father knight was a beast, but the bulliteer and auxilia with heavy flame throwers did the real work. I won but it was a game where both of us were beginners still learning the rules.
Auxilia are excellent at clearing the armory, but often have issues holding it due to fragility. An orc with MR in suppression fire can actually be a headache to move in the armory if you have some mines to help out. A swiss guard more so. As much as I generally dislike their design, a Teuton can actually work out pretty well, especially with an explosive ccw. They can trade with other tough nuisances and can dodge templates and mines pretty well. Hacking is mitigated somewhat by bts 6 but no stealth. Santiagos of either stripe can perform very well in the armory. The KHD being able to hang out as a marker token and wander on in past mines is a nice hidden benefit onto of their plethora of tools. Croc men, black friars and hexas are all good at supporting the room, but fragility of the single wound low armor makes them vulnerable to templates and mines.
