Can seed soldier FOs be Liaison Officers? The argument is the troop profile is the Seed-Embryo profile at the start of the game and not the FO profile.
Probably not, by the same argument that a TAG could not be if its pilot were an FO. But it's not really clear exactly how Seed Embryo is meant to work in this case and it could use some formal clarification. Related question: is a Cadmus hacker a valid hacking target before it hatches?
Yes, a Seed Soldier can be a Liaison Officer. This is because in the Army list profile, the seed has the forward observer skill (noting that it's WIP Zero so don't try to get flash with that). By comparison, a Cadmus Seed shouldn't have a KHD (but presently does as a result of a bug in Army that hasn't been fixed yet), so isn't hackable until hatched. If the Seed Soldier FO having the FO skill in seed profile is also a bug, then it can't be a liaison officer.
