I'm a big fan of the old Cyberpunk genre. I loved the Cyperpunk 2020 game. One faction I've always wanted to play, was as part of a Big Corporation. With well-paid security g-men, some with expensive cybernetics, and company hackers (or some freelance hackers working for a few extra credits). Is there a faction/sectorial which would give me this feel?
There are a number of factions where you could make this work with some creative painting and modeling decisions, but I agree that Tunguska is one of the best candidates straight out of the box. I'd also suggest you look at Aleph (mostly Vanilla or OperationS), or the new O-12 faction. Both of those have very high tech / cybernetic looks.
Fluff wise, Dashat "belongs" to a rich man with his own Las Vegas, and does mercenary contratcs. All other NA2 but JSA are mercenaries (and JSA is in debt of a lot of favours). As for main factions, PanO in general is composed of corporations, and Nomads are between a corporation (Tunguska), a cyberpunk rabble (Bakunin, but more biotech than cybertech) and mercenaries (Corregidor, but mostly for the other two nomad nations).
Foreign Company are another good shout, they get both Securitate and CSUs (Corporate Security Units) and the Soldiers of Fortune team are pretty much a group of Edgerunners (Netrunner, Fixer, and two Solos).
