Not entirely happy with that being yet another Ghulam doc, though. I think the Ghulam should have been an FO.

 

100%. An FO, LGL or Deployable Repeater would have been auto-purchases for me. I would have even taken a Panzerfaust. I'm probably skipping this one.

I understand that but at the same time, I would personally LOATHE if CB took good profiles hostage along 6 paints I already own. I would get an aneurysm if the Zhanshi turned out to be a LGL. xD

 

Yeah... I think the idea is that you buy the set for the paints and the mini is a bonus, not the other way around ;).

 

It is, but that is also why I did not buy the Nomad one. While an extra Alguacil is almost tempting (I never run the Paramedic), I simply do not want the paints so would have passed even if it were a better profile.

 

As it stands, I don't expect CB to ever release a Zhanshi LGL model now, so I'd still have preferred it to be held hostage behind a bunch of paints I either own or will never use.

 

I was lucky enough to snipe 3 LGL Celestial Guards. So now I can make the Wu Ming LGL, as well as the Zhanshi. :)

 

It's too bad that the old Wu Ming are so much smaller than the new, there was a nice MultiLGL in that box.



I was just about to recommend the LGL Celestial Guards as Zanshi with a head swap. Would probably have to hit Hasslefree for a male head to use, since Statuesque doesn't do male models.

I used the older CG to make Zanshi and Keisotsu snipers, used Statuesque Finescale heads. For CAD sculpts, use Statuesque's Pulp Scale heads.

 

I concur that the pulp heads fit the current females better than the fine sized heads.

 

The salvora complex is part of the september news. Does someone know if the token set is included inside the pack (like in the wildfire box) ?

It also includes the templates, rulers, and silhouettes! It's honestly a really amazing deal for new players.

 

I wish (and hope) future scenery sets like Salvora will include different specialized tokens. This was a fine selection already.

 

No head options for Puppets - bodies are cast with the heads. I am sad.

Simply cut/remove the heads and transplant them. For someone who likes the building side of the hobby the decision is an easy one. Plenty of heads out there on the internet that you can buy to replace as well.

 

the problem is that they said that there were gonna be at least one extra head to swap... but there isn't. Such a pitty
