My friends and I recently started playing Infinity, and we don't quite understand one part about ARO and Face to Face rolls. Let's say a Line Kazak activates, and uses one of it's short skills to BS attack full burst into a Fusilier. That Fusilier, and a second Fusilier nearby both ARO back at the Line Kazak with BS attacks. Would the second, untargeted Fusilier be making a Face to Face roll against the Line Kazak's three shots, or a normal roll, since he was not directly targeted?
http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Face_to_Face_Rolls You can read up here The question you have is covered under an example on the link ive posted above, but for clarity I'll repost below: "The Fusilier Angus attempts fire against Ortega, who again shoots back. However, Angus failed to notice the Alguacil Díaz behind him, preparing to open fire into his back. The actions of Angus and Ortega affect each other's outcome, so they make a Face to Face Roll. However, Angus' action does not affect Díaz's, so he makes a Normal Roll against the Fusilier. The result of Díaz's Normal Roll is unaffected by the result of the Face to Face Roll between Angus and Ortega."
The untargeted Fusilier in your case gets a Normal Roll. The Line Kazak isn't doing anything that might make that Fusilier fail.
