I've been eyeing up this profile as a potential return to CoC in my vanilla lists. But previous uses of pheasant generally required me getting them in the mix to make the points worthwhile and their stats let me down. That said, the extra lt order could give cybermask which could get you into cc. Or just be a clutch end game specialist, or just burst a key brain with a repeater. Overall, I feel the killer hacker brings enough different tools that she might have something useful during the games to not just be an expensive cheerleader. Really curious how people have found him /her?
Since Chain of Command is a specialist skill, this is not a unique feature to the KHD profile, mind you.
Having a tool to engage Cybermask is a big thing IMO, and Pheasant got (relatively) some toughnesa against Cyberwarfare than physical conflict - I might try her out, especially when both roles are required like using Daoying MSR Lt in Vanilla. There are people able to utilize Krit - Why not Pheasant!
I probably could have better expanded that I think the killer hacker being able to cybermask might allow for clutch specialist moves like reaching a covered objective. Where other 1w specialists might just die. I'll try her out and report back.
There isn't a lot of mission this season where you need to be the last guy to push a button to score some point and it doesn't really matter if your specialist dies trying, which is the kind of missions where this profile would really shine I think.
Funny, for some reason, I never thought of using cybermask on a Haidao KHD. I have for others but not him! Thanks for the reminder guys! I’ve looked at the Pheasant many times for the KHD and instead go with much cheaper Ninja or Kanren. Combi-E-mitter are okay. The CC is is pretty good but Ninja is better. Kanren has the holos and a template weapon. The CoC seems redundant. I’ve given up even trying to do the Classified objectives and just go for HVT if I can. I never get something I can do or it’s almost impossible to do.
