So there's that game called Rainbow six siege which is a class based shooter with servile Operators as class with different equipment and abilities. So what would the Operators in infinity universe?
For what I gathered at the Ubisoft Rainbow Six Seige site, Operators in that setting seems to be Specialists, Units with Deployables and Units with SWC. Other than that, they just seem to have a background; which then relegates the Operator title to the Official Infinity Named Units that are not Command Units (Uxia McNeil, Margot and Durock, Zoe and P-Well, Brando Castro, etc.)
A small 5 vs 5 miniature atack / defence scenario with an smaller table size and limited troop choices could be outstanding. rapel, d charges, mines, emaulers, smoke, so much potential the pieces are all there.
I don't think I understand the question. Are you asking what profiles would we use as Operatives? Or which units are the equivalent of the Operatives as presented in the Rainbow Six game?
well to elaborate how would the Operatives back ground and abilities translate into the infinity setting
Like I wrote in my previous post. Operators would be units with Deployables, Specialists, and units with SWC. There are named units in Infinity that have their own Background like McMurrough, Zoe and P-Well, Carlota Kowalski, Stephen Rao, Father Officer Gabriele De Fersen, Asuka Kisaragi, Xi Zhuang, Yuriko Oda, Takeshi "Neko" Oyama, Shinobu Kitsune, The Unknown Ranger, Mirage 5 (Durok and Margot), Uxia McNeil, etc. Since Operators all are individuals with Background, I'd say in Infinity they are the second group (the Named Characters); however in terms of game mechanics, you can make your own Operatives by just creating colorful backgrounds to your own miniatures. Specifically, those with Deployables, Specialists and minis with weapons that cost SWC.
you know Dokkaebi can fit into the infinity setting with only minor adjustments and I can easily picture Sledge as a hammer wielding dogface
