Has anyone tried leveraging all the bots that Ramah has? Possibly something like this?: Rise of the Machines ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 FANOUS REMOTE Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. Not exactly that, but close - my last game, I used 1 Shihab, 1 Rafiq, 1 Kameel and 3 Fanous (and 1 Nasmat). The problem with the list is, IMO, it has few "teeth" (models that can actually take the fight to the enemy). If your opponent concentrates on knocking your Khawarij fireteam out - and it is pretty doable! - and has a bit of luck to get rid of them quickly, what you're left with...?
Hello there, new player here who felt in love to Haqq minis and I dont want create new topic only for me. I already read some, watch some and create this little list as my first buying experience (I buy what I like at look). I know, i know there be no doctors, nada, zero - sorry about that. But what I`m bring here is my variation of sci-fi urban battlefield including 4 - 70-80 pts teams cover and supporting each other with 2 HMG, 2 GL Smokes, 2 flamethrowers, bullet magnet Maggie, CC butcher and hacker hunter. Fireteam core: Ghulam+Naffatum Fireteam harris: Tharik+Khawarij Fireteam duo: Fasid+Leila One and only: Maggie. And now I need some advice (maybe links to tactics / Ramah battlereports) what I need to buy in next wave (+1 month from now). Sorry for my english - still learning, and thank you in advance. V Ramah Outpost ────────────────────────────────────────────────── 10 GHULAM (Forward Observer) Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13) GHULAM Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. List is purely aggresive and apart from Maggyhas little to no AROs, it could do something in a missions where you dont need specialist, but it relies on the Maggy. Tarik fireteam can be outranged here as well, if i were to change something, i would drop Fasid and Ghulam NCO, give Spitfire to Tarik and turn Ghulam link into ML and Sniper ARO team.
I say run it! I love these kind of aggressive lists. Yes, you'll be missing specialists and some range bands as well as tricks to get you through traps. But it looks like it will be a fun use of the minis you like. My suggestion would be to run it 2-3 ties and then let us know how the games went. (Feel free to create a new topic as well). From there, we can help make suggestions based on upcoming missions and your favorite play style. I'd only recommend switching a minimal amount of profiles each time you change things up so you can get a good feel for what you're using. Just remember - Infinity is extremely lethal. Don't get down on yourself when models start to drop!
The problem I see is that Al'Fasid can be in no Fireteam but with a Shaytanyah FTO (Al Fasid has no Fireteam Duo skill, the damn drone has it). Yes, Leila can be a part of any fireteam, but I don't think it covers it with a model that can not form one.
Yeah, Wildcards don't get to just create any Fireteam they can otherwise join, you need something that does so normally. Regardless, such pairing looks rather pointless to me, mostly because its value depends on you walking around with slow and across the board mediocre unit doing something you can accomplish with much more efficient tools.
Welcome to Haqqislam! Honestly at this early stage in Infinity, just run whatever you think works. I think your list already demonstrates a good grasp of list building basics such as having a full 10 orders in a single combat group, and even duplicate LTs for safety. It's hard to evaluate a list as is without knowing what mission it is for though, so I think the best advice you can get to advance to the next stage is to start tailoring lists for missions, and your lists will naturally evolve. For instance, I would give Tarik a Spitfire, perhaps by dropping the Fasid, and using the extra points to upgrade your other stuff too and more mission doers. Gives you a very good longer range gun on top of Maggie's HMG, and Fat 2 on a Spitfire is great.
So, I wanted at limited insertion type of sectorial for Haqqislam and I feel like I got that in spades. So, what am I missing that makes Ramah the “worst” sectoral in the game? lol Now, before I posted this, I jumped on over to read the OP. The main complaints are Tarik is not good enough. Really? Everything is too expensive. It’s a limited insertion sectoral. Lack of AROs? Hortlak Snipers, Al Fasid and Khawarij Rocket Launchers oh my...
And people were saying that MO is the worst PanO sectorial. Damn, we'd better demand some serious changes in Acon.
I was talking about PanO players, myself included :P (Also that was sarcasm, I hope that was obvious :P )
@Stiopa I didn't say anything on our forum but you can imagine how enjoyed I can be to see those numbers. MO, weak... ah! On the other side, I will say RTF isn't playing in the usual Haqq way (just like MO for PanO and TJC for Nomades) and because people can't rely on the same tricks make them cringy. I've found myself having more problems fighting RTF than the other Haqq armies because you have guys who costs points, yes, but they are all rather effective. It's easier to win FtF against guys shooting at 11 rather than 13. And your Jan core is now rather hot and not that costly too. Maybe you should try it with Leila and Bill in it.
I played against Ramah a couple of weeks ago and from my perspective it definitely packs a punch. I found myself concerned about more things than I would against QK or Bahram.
Not representative or possibly flat out wrong numbers. Ramah is performing completely mediocre. Considering it's one of the new Sectorials, it's performing pretty bad in comparison. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/2019-in-numbers-its-data-analysis.36359/page-3#post-319284
