I wanted to make a couple removable base huggers for my Shasvasti (Nano-screens). I originally was going to use some washers, but when I was digging threw my misc part bin, I found some metal tap that worked perfectly. It's malleable enough to easily put a bend in it and glue/green stuff what ever you want to it. Sticks well to a standard magnet in the base. I was able to green stuff a TinBot to a piece and it holds very well. I was surprised model glue held the plasticard to the metal easily.

I still want to add more paint to the nano-screens, but I thought I'd share the idea.
