The 3rd edition of the French Satellite Tournament, called "Merovingian Satellite : the Lyon is back !" will happen in Lyon on October 5th and 6th 2019. It will take place inside a big gaming convention called Octogone (RPG, board game, cosplay etc ...). There will also be an Aristeia! tournament on Friday October 4th and saturday 5th morning. You can attend both tournaments. You can go to Lyon though train or Airplane (there are train and buses from the Airport to the city). Accomodation should not be very expensive (much cheaper than Paris) and you can get a room for less than 50€ a night (less if you share the accomodation). I heard everyone who comes from Lyon is notoriously hardcore and can win just by staring you down and singing the Marseillaise while playing a gimped army with one hand tied behind their back and a Gauloise Bleu hanging from their lips. Be afraid! (I'm kidding: these are some of the nicest guys I have met at tourneys in Europe. Worth going for that alone). On a more serious note, this tourney is about to have some awesome terrain, like most of the Parisian tourneys do. The lads down there have some really interesting and varied tables to play on. @Marduck , will Dunan be bringing his stuff down for this?
Sadly no. He is quiet busy with family and work right now. But some tables in Lyon are very nice too and people from all the country will bring their shinest set.
The broken highway/office block table and the underground chambers tables down there were awesome. It will be good either way.

It's been a real pleasure attending this Satellite! It was awesome to meet some forumers and put a face to a name like @darkdoji , @Ayadan , @mattbab , @Zergash , @anaris, @ev0k and @Marduck . Really friendly and awesome community you've got there. So far the best. We'll try to do our best to bring more people next season! If by any chance you've missed the event, you can take a look at what kind of tables were there!

hey guys! thanks for the comments! it wasn't perfect but everything went nicely for both tournaments. Arkille won, a player used to win with his aleph army Weran got second with spiral corps, followed by Vulkan and ShassOKassad for aristeia Frenchy won, followed by ,me and MrFox got third
