Are submachines guns generally undercosted/overpowered?

DAM 12 with no special AMMO. Done.

Make multi-rifles 1-2 pt over combis, maaaaybe reduce combis by 1 pt. Done.

 

So the new Dr Worm is one point cheaper, with an SMG and Journalist.

The Tohaa Beyonce with Journo is the same price as the Specialist Operative, and we know SO is 1 point elsewhere.

So for Dr Worm the SMG is the same cost as a rifle? Sign of things to come?

 

That or Dr Worm is paying 4 points for Journalist and the Diplomat pays 1 because irregular.

 

Tensho also appear to have SMG+Journalist=BSG cost.

And yes, this makes me think that SMGs are frightfully undercosted.

 

Dr. Worm and the Tensho are clearly hand adjusted. There can't be 18 point Drs. Worm and 12 point Tenshos running around.

 

I don't think Dr. Worm needed to be any cheaper, even by a single point. He was already extremely efficient at his previous price. Now he has journalism on top of a one point discount and access to shock?

I really wish Corvus would stop gaming their own system.

 

It's fine if they game their system, but they should do it on units that need it instead of the auto-picks of a faction.

 

I often dont take Dr Worm. His base size is annoying. How the heck does a whole Galactic Empire only have 1 guy who knows the right end of a stethoscope?
