A long time ago I read that the color of a CCW's blade indicated whether it was DA, Viral, Shock, etc. I don't remember what those were though. Does anybody have a listing of them or a link to an article? Thanks in advance.
if i recall correctly, CB hasn't been very consistent in this and has switched colors around. That said, feel free to standarize colors for your army, i think it's neater that way.
I also recall a thread about the ccw and their respective colours. But as mentioned by @jherazob, I also think it was kind of not consistent throughout the various factions. And chances are that that thread is buried with the old forum, so best go with your own choice
CCW type colors aren't consistent anymore, they were in N1/N2. I used to have a list of things, I need to get another external HDD and load a disk image on it to find that file, though. That laptop did not survive a glass of water getting spilled on it. IIRC: AP was plain steel, or mostly steel with a green/purple sheen to represent Teseum. I'd use a sheen to make it different from a plain CCW. DA was blue? purple? don't remember EXP was red EM didn't have a color assigned, I'd use electric blue. Mono was either Yellow or Green (there are models with both) Viral was green Shock didn't have a color assigned, either.
Oh, I think I'd actually use orange for the DA CCW, just to avoid odd or duplicate colors. And a plain knife or CCW I would paint with a gunmetal-black blade and just the silver edge.
Even back in 2nd the colors were fairly consistent within a single faction but were not consistent between factions.
