Thing is that only Russian players that are accused of something are from another systems, that, you know, are not relative to Infinity.
Oh boy, here we go. So i guess this conversation is gonna look like this: (CV) - No, i did not. (IG) - Well then why do you accuse someone of something that he did if you weren't playing with him? (CV) - Because there are reports of stuff he did made by his opponent which were confirmed by player himself (also, coming from the report that stuff was also confirmed by judges (that's why they rewrote results into minor victory 2-0, that's why Nick is on 10th place and not 19-th). (IG) - Well, but did you play against Pupnik? (CV) - No. (IG) - Then your arguments are invalid and your Russian players form 40k also cheat! This post is made with a bit of humour and i also hope that my predictions for how this conversation goes are incorrect)
Presumably as some of the Spaniards here are (seemingly) assuming this ill-feeling is just a Russian thing, as opposed to a wider international one.
For my part, it isn't even really about that. Pupnik claims the "organization" let him form an illegal fireteam with his Druze. That could mean a few things, but if they gave him explicit permission to do so, fucking why? Just complete chicanery?
I’m not gonna’ engage in finger pointing but I find it hard to believe that any TO gave anyone permission to form any illegal fire teams. Although with all the fire team mixing nonsense that has been introduced, it could be an honest mistake. Who knows.
What would the TO have to do with checking how the Fireteam was formed? The list doesn’t indicate who is or isn’t part of the Fireteam, merely if the whole list is legal or not. Mistakes are made, in all sides, and it appears from his opponent’s batrep that Pupnik accepted his mistake and the loss when it was brought to him by his opponent and the TOS. I neither speak nor read Russian, but folks in this thread have mentioned that Dr. Nick notes that Pupnik acted with politeness and courtesy in accepting his error and loss.
Some People cheat by acting stupid and pretending they don’t know the full extend of the rules or their actions.... or they lie about equipment or stats. Then apologize if they get caught Some people also have two almost identical lists so they can switch the lieutenant around..... And some people are idiots And some people make mistakes I feel digusted that we play a game, A fucking game. That you should enjoy with your mates or new people and these things happen. Hell I don’t bother replying to most stuff on here but this is fucking disgusting. Calling someone racist because an argument got heated is stupid and leads no where and so does the supposed racist comment. I can understand the anger tho, I would be fucking pissed to if my opponent may have been willfully cheating. But it’s a game people let’s discuss It like grown ups. If your argument for not discussing this isthat the games have been played and “ you were not there”. Please consider if you were there and you got cheated how would you feel. Lastly this is forum it is meant for discussing things. So don’t get mad when things are actually getting discussed
I'm sorry mate but what the fuck are you on about? There have been CLEAR statements that postulate that this fireteam, specifically, was approved by the TO's. This isn't about whether or not the list submission was legal.
Then as mentioned, they screwed up, and, one more time, they shouldn't have had anything to do with approving a Fireteam, only the list, which means they screwed up twice... in a tournament that Pupnik *didn't* win, and again, from what people are relating about Dr. Nick's batrep, accepted having his error point out to him with courtesy and grace, taking the loss.
I dunno man, ask Pupnik, who claims that the organization running the tournament gave him their blessing.
