So I need some clarification... I have a reactive trooper in Hidden Deployment, an active trooper moves and I have Line of Fire against him. 1. Must I declare that I delay my ARO by placing the TO Marker Token on the table? 1a. If so can I declare a CD attack after his second short skill? 2. Must I declare my attack straight away after the first short skill has been performed/declared?
You must declare your ARO at first opportunity, or you lose it. You may only delay your ARO declaration in specific circumstances; reacting to a marker, possessing sixth sense. Questions: 1. What is letting you delay your ARO? Answers: 1. Assuming you have some means of delaying your ARO, yes you must place a TO marker down and indicate that it is delaying its ARO declaration. 1a. Depending on what allowed you to delay, both yes and no. 2. In virtually all circumstances, yes.
On the Hiddle deployment FAQ in the wiki, it says you can delay your ARO with a Troop in Hidden Deployment...does that mean that the Hidden deployment is a state that allows you to delay or does it mean that you can do it when you are able to delay? That is my doubt.
Ah I see. No, Hidden Deployment doesn't allow you to delay your ARO, but it doesn't prevent you from doing so if there is another reason that would allow you to do so. So, if an enemy camo marker performs its first short skill in LoF of your Hidden Deployment trooper, you can delay your ARO (because the enemy is a marker), but you have to place a TO camo marker and indicate that you are delaying your ARO declaration. If it was an enemy trooper instead, you'd have to declare your ARO after the first short skill, you could not delay.
