I really like how the shas looks with the rebreather. It's a slick way to resemble a mindflayer without getting sued by wizards of the coast. I also really like the tentacle dreads. The HI is strangely reminiscent of a Suryat.
Isnt the bottom dude a Nox trooper, not a Noctifer? Fits the pattern of all the Op boxes having LI facing off on the front.
Nah, it's definitely not a Nox. My first guess was that the hooded figure was a Mentor, and the one with rebreather was a Shrouded, but I can see Sabin's point.
The pattern does kind of look like it, but when you compare it to the dossier there are way too many differences. The back spikes, the white stripes on the shoulder, the chest plate light, no gas mask, etc. ...and it looks like we are both wrong. According to the new (albeit very low res) images in the News section, the box contains 3 Nox (no surprise), a Caliban, a Shrouded, a Mentor, and a Gwailo. Updated OP. I actually thought the Caliban was at first... but that was because I thought that the symbol on the shoulder was the Mentor symbol and not the Caliban one.
Huh. I guess the rebreather could be that special implant the Mentor fluff mentions them having. (or was that the Tensho? I cant remember)
I highly doubt anyone will protest using Shrouded as a Malignos ;) With great CoC available Mentor is actually quite free to act, when opportunity shows itself. Shock Marksman Rifle is a pretty potent weapon.
Agreed. Also, somehow indicating Protheion on the Caliban... but even still, I love the poses, the design, everything.
I think the Cadmus is great. To me the Mentor falls a little flat. The pose doesn't do it for me, but that's subject to opinion. Overall this box to me was a home run. The Gwailo looking like a mini Sphynx, and I love it.
Now I am thinking I need to get 2 people to split boxes with. I also think the Mentor would make a good Malignos since it's going to be a camo marker all the time and if he pops up I'll just use one of my old Shas models.
