Hello I am trying to collect small ariadna army. I hoarded some minis (Coldfront. USAriadna startet, spetznaz and werewolves, few Scots) and it appears I should paint some of them (ok, I really want to paint them, but free time is the problem). Generally I prefere new sculpts, but Dozer and 112 looks more than ok, old Spec-Ops not so much, but I couldn't leave him to die. Hope you like it.
I love that 112 conversion. So simple but effective. Doesn't even look like you had to do much bending or sculpting there. Also, holy amazing skin tones dude! Great work.
@Manu Miniatures That 112 conversion really looks swell. I'll be on the lookout for a spare model to give my 112 the same treatment.
Convertion was pretty easy. I cutted out spec-ops belly, bended him a little more and attached to the 112. After filling all gaps I repositioned firemen's right arm and sculpted hand. Progress on Dozer (after a year ):
Goofing with ariadna continues. I fancy myself to make Ratnik step by step. It probably take 3-5 years ( or more, name of the game isn't good omen for side projects :P ) Ratnik is ready to paint and I have idea for cool winter camo. To be sure that everything goes smooth I prepared VetKazak as test model. I need to bring armour to the state as on the helmet before aplying white camo. Some update on 112:
Easy, why rush things? Mini painter dies only when he finishes his last miniature. Judging by my private pile of shame I will enjoy human spheres 175 years in the future. I paint a lot of Kingdom Death and some other stuff lately, no time for guilty pleasures.
No shit Captain Obvious, he can't paint any more because he's dead, that's why it's his last miniature :D
