Don't get me wrong, this poll should not be an offence against CB, I'm only really interested in the opinion of other people. Perhaps I'm an exception or I live in my filter bubble, but till now, I don't found anybody who liked that miniature. That's the first time I don't want to pre-order a new box/book/whatever, cause I don't know what to do with that miniature. If I will ever use that profile, I will proxy it, cause I don't like them.
I like her a lot more after seeing today's video, it's one of those poses that is hard to photograph but looks really nice and dynamic in person, especially when fighting a Caliban.
Decidedly meh for me. It could be switched with Aristeia version and both sculpts would look more in place. Hector was a nicely done sci-fantasy mini. This one is weak.
I think it's decent all around, although the position of the head is a little wonky - she seems to be looking slightly up which doesn't make that much sense with her jumping pose. That and the cape would probably be my main gripes, but I do quite like the jumping pose.
I think it looks good. The original photograph didn't do it too many favors but seeing it in the video that Bostria put together changed my mind.
Hyppolita(sp?)? I like the Aristeia! skin better for Infinity, while the Infinity model looks more like an Aristeia! skin.
Can someone put up time stamps? Flipping through, I can't find an Aristeia skin for Hippolyta. I'm revising my vote from 2 to 3 after seeing the 360 degree view.
I find the Aristeia! version better for Infinity too, it's more in the style of the bodysuits favoured by the greek sectorial than the floating toga. That being said, neither are particullary sci-fi :( It's the something hearts box, the videos for Wildfire (logically) won't have that...
Like other people have said, I wasn't impressed from the initial photos, but seeing the video really changed my opinion. She's a really cool model, in a hard to photograph pose.
I think it's a good miniature, but strange for Infinity and the pre-order box. I'm in the camp that says the Reckless Hearts version would be a better fit.
I find Hippolyta to be the weakest miniature of the entire pre-order deal. It's not terrible, but all the others are better and more thematic.
Like others have said, Hippolyta 'Infinity' skin seems much more 'showy' than the Aristeia! skin. It's not exactly a bad model, I just think that CB mismatched the skins and the games.
I like the idea of someone wearing a ballistic dress in combat. I pre ordered a second one (mostly cause i want my Aristeia! miniatures in metal).
I get the feeling that because she is an O12 liasion, Hippolyta was in her "Diplomat" or ceremonial uniform when the SEF showed up and started shooting. I like it but have a feeling the general release model that will show up sometime next year may fit better.
