Not a conversion per se, but I combined a couple of Reaper Bones together to make my Helot proxies. Nothing special, just wanted a cheap placeholder until the box is released.
@ThananRollice As someone who is also waiting patiently for the Helots to be released, I approve of your sound thinking. Those aliens/undersea creatures are good proxies to "tide" you over until CB finally throws us a line.
Aaaand Celeste's second mini is done! Tried a new spot to take the pic. Doesn't work really well either so I'd say it's my phone's fault at this point.
Look at the shadow in the base. The light is a bit behind the model, that is going to look bad. Try moving the camera to the right, so the shadow goes away instead of towards it. First picture has a similar problem, strong shadow to the side (not as towards camera as in your painted one), but second does not, shadows go to the pot behind so mostly everything is visible and nice (I would add a small front light to show the face and back let details, tho, sometimes even a white paper placed can act as "light").
After doing my “Runny Szally” conversion (and soon afterwards, we got a new Szally!), I realized Szally and Lizzy have the same stats except for the weapon (mostly the same, ok). So I assumed they share the same frame, and I give you... my converted Lizzy: Soon more pics and hopefully some painting.
Oh wow, that looks amazing! Though the flat head makes me feel like it's missing something... Did you consider putting back Lizard antennas?
Thanks for the nice words. Surprisingly, the original Lizard has no antennas, so you might be misremembering. I will post pics of this girl next to old Lizzy and new Szally so you can see the size change. I did consider adding antennas, in form of the back “capsules” of original Lizzy. However, it just created a weakness or piece that could break easily, and considering that the new Szally design of the head is also very flat and recessed into the armor, left it that way. It is a very easy thing to do so I might change my mind yet!
Thanks Guys, means a lot! Ikari has been such a fun project to work on as there is not really any standard template to follow
I tried, did not work as well as I wanted, may try it again with another approach, but this is the current result.
SAS leg swap so he's brought up to the new Infinity scale. Had a bit of Metal Gear in my head when choosing his legs.
Very hard to make out what you did here as pic is out of focus. Can you block out background stuff to show us a better pic?
I see now. Looks cool, hand on sword at ready. Other hand pointing? I suggest curling middle finger so that the “hey you/over there!” Narrative is a little clearer (if that is indeed narrative you are after). At the moment the hand looks like reaching for some unknown thing.
Got many errors while trying to upload photos but let’s try again... Also, if you have seen the art of old Akira, I decided to give her a more powerful ride similar to the art...
MaxSteel Hot Wheels bike, cleaned and primed. Asuka required minimal opening of the legs to fit on it. I know it is too big. I know it seems more an scenery piece than a bike. But as I said, it gives me a more Akira vibe, powerful bike with small girl on it... the artwork on Asuka also shows a massive bike, so...
