Just wondering if there's a reason that Steel Phalanx netrods have electric pulse, while vanilla and OSS ones don't? It's been bugging me for a while now.

It's in error in the army page for SP. AI beacons can't actually use the electric pulse anyway so it's useless

Back in N2 they could use it so I guess it's left over since then.

This explains a confusing exchange that arose a couple of games ago.

But it is only 4 years of so since N2; and it is a whole couple of lines of text that would need changing; so we should be patient and wait for this to fixed in the fullness of time.

    For fuck’s sake.

Actually, they could use it for a solid portion of n3 as well. They started as troopers, then equipment that could electric pulse, now this.

They have had quite a journey.
