Hey there guys, So after finally picking up and assembling (paint job still to come) my Achilles V2, I've got a few questions regarding both of his profiles and how both of them contain Fireteam: Duo as a special skill. Looking at his non-Hoplite Armor profile, we can see that he clearly has Fireteam: Duo, however when looking at the list of legal Fireteams, only Achilles V2 is mentioned. Why then does this version of Achilles have the skill if he seems incapable of using it?
He's not supposed to have it. It's an error with the Army app that's been there for years. The unit profiles PDF is the "official" profile list, and if you check that you'll see Fireteam:Duo isn't on v1 Achilles.
That aside. There really is no reason to use the fireteam skill. Achilles and Patroclus are perfectly fine on their own. And in Steel Phalanx you’ll do better with a Myrmidon team.
I actually like the Duo. First of all this is a very good way to disguise the real Achilles during deployment. Moreover the holoechos are useful to clean up minefields that are relatively effective against the fairest of all heroes.
