    Hi guys,

This may be a very silly question but I can’t find the rules for how medevac or cubevac works anywhere- where would I find this?

My LGS is running a narrative event with custom missions using the spec ops rules and their blurb makes reference to medevac/cubevac.

    Cheers!

Those are part of the campaign rules, so are only available in the Daedalus’ Fall book.

    Short version:
    • If your spec ops gets killed, you have some rolls to avoid losing them.
    • First, the medvac roll, if you have surviving doctors or paramedics on the table. (You still get the roll without the right personnel, but the target numbers are harder.)
    • If that fails, and you have a Cube you can use cubevac. Otherwise your spec op is dead.
    • For cubevac, you need a surviving doctor, paramedic, Baggage or AI beacon. (You still get the roll without the right personnel surviving, but the target numbers are WAY harder.). If you pass the cubevac roll, you’re fine. If you fail your cubevac roll, you don’t get to use your spec ops for one game and then you’re fine.
So you have a lot easier time if something goes wrong if you’ve got a Cube.
