So, X-Visor knocks off -3 from BS attacks' range penalty. Grenades use PH; but it is considered throwing weapon which subtitude its attribute into PH. Does X-Visor grant bonuses when a unit with X-Visor throw a grenade by his own hands?
Yep, i don't see anything in the rules against it. It's a bit weird but maybe the X-visor also include geometry for dummies
Or the X-visor on grenades could also represent easy to throw grenades, that fly at a longer distance?
yup it works for "the user's BS Weapons, Special Skills, and Equipment... ...X Visor benefits also apply to Common Skills with Range bands, such as Discover and Suppressive Fire."
Very true I have only had 1 or 2 games where it has made a difference though, but when that E/M grenade hits in 1 or 2 orders it is great. The other one is Druze nimbus grenades covering Yuan Yuans in Ikari or QK so people are firing 1 shot at your chainrifle wielding space pirates at -3 to hit when it makes no difference to your template that you shove down over their fireteam, makes that 8pt 0arm bloke actually stand a chance of getting to fire a second or third time
