Just a few quick questions. 1. Can an Eraser ARO/act against a Camo token? 2. Do Erasers benefit from the +1 Burst ARO or +3 BS (Tricore) from Fireteams? My gut is that it would benefit from neither since it relies on WIP rolls, but unsure. 3. Do Dazers affect both friendly and enemy models with their penalties (Saturation + Very Difficult). Gut tells me yes, just want to confirm. 4. That saturation zones from multiple sources do not stack (e.g. Draal puts down a Stratuscloud when he's in a Dazer zone). As always - thanks in advance.
Also - unrelated to title, just want to clarify re. Frenzy - if a trooper with Frenzy kills something, are they only counted as Impetuous during their next Active turn (e.g. they ride out the rest of their Active and the next Reactive still having cover/camo bonuses, etc) or the immediate order after they kill something? If it's the former, could say Pavel kill someone directly in his Active turn, go back into marker state for the reactive, then be forced to break out of marker state for his next active since he's now counted as Impetuous.
1. No. Valid AROs vs Camo are specified in the Camo and Hiding rules. "The only AROs available against a CH: Camouflage Marker (CAMO) or a CH: TO Camouflage Marker (TO CAMO) are Discover, Change Facing, and Dodge." 2. No. It's not a BS Attack or a Discover (using WIP doesn't matter, Jammers in a core link do). 3. Yes. It's a zone on the table. 4. No they don't. I'll need to dig around to remember why though.
http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Special_Terrain_Rules#Visibility_Conditions MPORTANT! Visibility MODs never stack with other Visibility MODs. If an area would be affected by two or more Visibility Zones of whatever type, apply only the most obscuring. For example, if a Low Visibility Zone (-3 MOD) coincides with a Poor Visibility Zone (-6 MOD), treat that area as a Poor Visibility Zone. If two Poor Visibility Zones coincide, apply only one single -6 MOD.
Effects When he deploys, a trooper with Frenzy is Non Impetuous. However, if he causes an enemy to lose one point from their Wounds or STR Attribute, then he will start his next Active Turn as an Impetuous trooper and will remain Impetuous for the rest of the game. When a trooper with Frenzy becomes Impetuous, it loses the advantages provided by Special Skills like CH: Camouflage, CH: TO Camouflage (both are reduced to CH: Mimetism), Impersonation, Holoprojector (see Infinity. Human Sphere), etc. While Pavel don't begin any turn after killing somebody, he isn`t "frenzy", so he can use CH:Camo, but when he start the next turn he will lose all the advantages, becarefull :)
Cool beans. Yeah - it's mostly just to force discover roles during Pavel's reactive turn. I find that if I leave him in an out of camo state, he dies in mostly one/two orders, while if he goes into marker state (where possible, not always) it's more likely he'll eat a few more orders. Not sure if "efficiently" it's worthwhile since as you've confirmed he loses marker state and cover-benefits on his next active turn, but been playing around with it and it's been situationally useful. Just never had to deal with the Frenzy/Camo interaction since before I've really only had that combo with the Limited Camoflage Uxia who doesn't have the options that Pavel provides.
