I don't know certanly what material CB meant, but old sculpt have same shoulders and back reinforcement.

There is same type armor on Janicare's belly too.

I love new skulpt but want it to be more agile, like old AP rifle one.

This is definitely an N3 scale version of the original concept rather than a re-imagining.

Which is no bad thing, the AP Rifle Asawira is one of the best N2-era "latex suit" HI.

I guess I'm alone in wanting a box with 4 minis in it for each loadout. I already own 3 now and need a boarding shotgun version.

First off, the 2 old sculpts are 2 of the best looking poses on any model in this game (IMO), and the old models fit the theme of the unit perfectly.
Second, why the hate, as stated, its literally just an N3 scaled version of the original design, I absolutely love that they stuck to it too.
And lastly i also thought the movement of the Hip armor to the butt area was weird, but after looking at it a bit more I see that its only like that cause of the pose, implying that if they were standing up straight then the armor would rest at the hip/thigh area.

I feel conflicted about this model. Asawiras are suposed to wear high mobility suits which are lighter than other HI armor. In game, it has the same ARM than a vanilla MI but this armor looks a lot bulkier than other MI in other armies. I love how they have keep the old model's aesthetic, tho.

Maybe it is space for a unit symbol. We have seen similar works on Djanbazans and Azrails

The bulkiness is the exoskeleton, which gives HI their second wound.

I mean Asawira's are super soldiers in power armour, which means they aren't really so limited by the bulk because the guys inside are crazy strong with ridiculous reflexes and so they're moving like a blur anyway in reaction, but I think that I may consider leaving the arse wings off if it makes him look a bit sleeker.

Now that you folks mentioned that, I'm very conflicted about those plates to the both sides of the head...
