I normally don't love haris teams. Usually it feels like I am just moving units up the table to become vulnerable to counter attack. The order efficiency can be good, but it is often more order efficient to simply start with your specialist near the midline as a camo token.

Anyway, I love the idea of this haris:

    Asawira Haris
    ──────────────────────────────────────────────────

ASAWIRA (Fireteam: Haris) Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, Shock CCW. (2 | 44)
    MUYIB (Minelayer) Rifle + Light Shotgun, D.E.P. Antipersonnel Mines, E/Mauler / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 24)
MUYIB Doctor Plus (MediKit) Rifle + Light Shotgun, D.E.P. / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 27)

    2 SWC | 95 Points

    Open in Infinity Army

More than most, it feels like it has the tools to survive. Good gunfighting. Some resilience, especially if you can keep the doctor alive. The mines and e/maulers are amazing for protecting them and providing a line of defense.

With that being said, it is 95 points that could be spend on Fidays, Lasiqs, Ragiks, and any number of other cool stuff.

I really like this haris in a mission that requires occupying a zone or an objective room or getting a data tracker to survive somewhere, like in Frostbyte.

Do you have experience with the haris? What do you think?

It tends to be a very useful Haris. Though I'm partial to bringing in a LGL rather than Minelayer: Smoke can be pretty handy there.

I could see that on the active turn, but the mines and e/maulers are sooooooo good for keeping it alive. Especially when there are already 4 mutts running around somewhere.

I really do suck with fireteams, but this is actually the only one I had some success with.

That's kinda the point, mutts can be a nice cover for your advancing elements without too much extra order expenditure.
I would go as far as to say that fireteams supported by mutts and possible Fiday vector is the draw of HB because otherwise whatever you do, other armies can do as well, sometimes better.

Then again, mutts can smoke for you as well.
LGL is probably much more attractive if you run Asawira+Muyib core if you land against one of those 20 order armies. Speculative on 12 up to 16" is workable if there are grouped targets.
I think these days it's not too hard to have a combat group stacked with enough linkable troops to form either Ghulam core and Asawira Haris or Muyib+Asawira core with Ghulams as cheerleaders which you maybe will be able to relink later.
You'll probably need an expensive spare body to do so though.

Last year I played a lot with an "asawira haris" not exactly the same, 2 asawiras plus 1 Muyib (minelayer) or (LGL) depends on the mission, I have to say it was a really good haris. The combo 2 Muyibs + 1 Asawira is too really cool, more cheap, but not so hard.

In the past, before the little update in hassasin the asawira haris has more sense than now. The opportunity to place one or two asawiras is too tempting... The work better in the core than they do in the haris. Now I think is better one muyib core with 2 asawiras and a haris with 3 muyibs. The good thing about it is when the casualties come you can easily remade the fireteam core and have one more time 5 members.

I recomend you strongly now use the core with Asawiras instead the haris.

    Best regards!!

I haven't played HB since the last refresh, but the Asawira Duo (spitfire & doc) have been a mainstay for me. I tended to avoid the Harris because I wanted a core muyib with my asawira, then have more room for solo models in my first battle group.

With the refresh I think the Asawira will be part of my core and have even more stand alone troops, or try a Lasiq Harris with a wild card specialist.

Asawira are really cracking for Armoury I find. Multiple wounds, dodge templates, have their own DTW, not afraid of a bit of CC... They're the Namurrs of the Bahram for that job.
