When are hidden objectives revealed? Soon as completed or at end of the game when counting up VP? In the new ITS seems that it would be at end of the game considering there are a few that have additional sub-missions, that can be accomplished for an additional point, or potentially negate a point to your opponent, that if revealed the first portion as completed could/would potentially influence your opponents play. An example is Kill 2 in CC for 1OP, Kill 3 for an additional 1OP.
I think it still is done when the secondary (hidden) objective gets done. The main problem otherwise would be for both players to remember the moment it was done, etc. etc. Certainly they can change your opponent's mind from "do this secondary" to "control HVT", but that's it, since you have to announce if you will use the cards as Intelcomm or secondaries before the first round.
The example was for Predator and it does specify "At the end of the game", but not all of them say that. So, in this case, I think it is obvious. But not sure if there was a written ruling from CB as to when you must disclose completed Hidden Objectives.
From ITS10: So they become open information as soon as they are forfilled. As a manner of sportmanship I would advice to show them at that point in the game and not only if the opponent asks for it. Else he would have to ask all the time you did something during the game that could be a classified Objective.
So the issue becomes when you had Kill 2 Enemies in CC and you Chimera eats two ORCs but leaves them UNC. At that point you've achieved your classified, so you'd score it. If at the end of the game Bipandra has Doctored both of those ORCs are they killed when you try to score the classified? Probably not. Basically, just reveal it when it's fulfilled and these probelms don't occur.
See previous discussions, Predator requires taking them to Dead state in CC. That's why Coup de Grâce doesn't count.
Fair point. And I can't think of any other classifieds that check states? Not that it's particularly relevant.
