Hi, a couple on months ago i started to paint my MO army but i can't decide what color scheme use. After a lot of Mwh, Bah, Uff i realize that i can paint minis like medieval knight. In other words i can use more colors and i can draw some symbol. Yes it sound wonderful/crazy/idiot but i started my Fk yesterday and i'll try to paint it with that scheme And this is what i paint yesterday(i just painted the legs) Cheers
This reminds me of a good number of Space Marine chapters that use center-split or quad-split color scheme like you have above. I would actually look at some of those chapters color schemes and see what ideas you can glean from them. After all PanO's Military Orders is the closest thing CB has to GW's 40k Astartes. In fact the shield's colors that you are trying replicate is the same scheme of the Brazen Claws: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Mljt833tSZw/US0RHLPVD9I/AAAAAAAAABc/QzaEX7w-RCA/s1600/Space+Marines.png http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Pictorial_List_of_Space_Marine_Chapters_A-L http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Pictorial_List_of_Space_Marine_Chapters_M-Z
Don't know about that. There heraldry pic that Doa posted sure looks like it's from history...and not from the future. In fact, Doa's pic looks like it is the Knights Coat of Arms of the Duke of Beaufort. Doa...looks good so far.
I know that, it is just that the colors were similar (red & blue). The heraldry does look nicer though. I just gave him an idea to try thats all.
Well, if you know a bit about heraldry and history, that's what gave me the impression that it was either French or English heraldry. That would be an awesome idea...do it! :D
So my first FK is gone. This is the result Waiting for Icestorm's FK(and then all MO painted in this way. I just find scheme for another 13 knight ) Hope you like this project
ok lets start my back to activity on forum :) like the idea but execution lack at finishing touches good job over all just kep in mind that red is a bitch to paint and white edge highlight may give strange effects
