Hi! I have ben in this hobby for a long time now. Will try a log of my building/painting for infinity here... The Shasvastii starter was my second infinity "army", but I almost never played them. Around the time for TAGline (ITS 8) I started up them again, feeling enthusiastic. Painted up the sphinx, got some other models partly painted but when datatrackers arrived in ITS 9 it killed my enthusiasm... But now my enthusiasm has been rekindled and I'm returning to my old mistress :-) I really want to magnetize my minis nowadays so sadly the old bases aren't usable anymore. New bases also gives me some space to write unit names (ex: JAYTH SMG or CALIBAN SF) as there is going to be a lot of proxying and really old models. I like the old models for their weirdness and inhuman looks and am a bit afraid the new models will be "humans with rubber masks" so I'm stocking up on old models, even has managed to get my slimy fingers on 4 of the old tentacle remotes :-D. I've been building and playing, but no additional painting yet. With completely new basing I'm really thinking about new painting scheme, something fast with wood stain as middle step... 4 games, 3 victories and 1 draw so far
Right now my plan is to build this list, then batch paint it. So I have to rebase a malignos FO, a slave drone, an Ikadron and build a noctifer ML. Then it's painting time. And I do have another list waiting for second wave...
Got some primer on 8-) @Dedled Thanks! I tried a more advanced version first, but this is easy and quite obvious. So I'm pleased :-)
